In Mint they are much more paranoid with updates and experimenting and it is indeed more stable. I had to switch to it from Ubuntu due to recurring incompatibility issues courtesy my "NVidia fuck you "(tm) graphics card. Mint has had no issues with my hardware.

+Rory Rumfelt You know what's funny though, a while back I upgraded to win10 (fuck knows why) and it COMPLETELY broke down my MSOffice 2013. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling everything imaginable to fix it, but keeps prompting me with 'lol we ran into an error'. well I decided to give up on that shit and install MSOffice 2007. Got stuck midway all the time. This is how horribly Windows 10 handles MSOffice installations it seems. I even tried to contact Microsoft support. They weren't educated enough to even understand my problem. Right now I use my PC as dual-boot, as most game support still resides on Windows. I installed LibreOffice on WIndows (Ubuntu of course had that built in) and it works like a charm. I still have windows fucking me over on 'lol update your office' as it keeps notifying me about it, whereas I can't disable it. (resets every boot in Windows). Seriously, I am happy I gave Ubuntu more of a try, and eventually sticked to using it. I can't understand why I was so dumb to quit it before, just because it had no proper anti-virus. Ubuntu, no, every distribution of Linux does not need one as of now. Ubuntu actually allowed me to be more productive. After all LibreOffice, and many more software packages are easy to understand and use.

+RicoX73 you should've just reinstalled windows 10 via an ISO, or reinstall the OS you had before. Not that hard if you can afford to buy a 16GB usb.
