Protesters at UC Irvine on Thursday criticized the police response to the "Gaza Solidarity" encampment a day earlier, when officers dismantled the camp and arrested more than 50 people.
Has anyone told them that 40% of women in Gaza are abused and that LGBTQ+ are jailed or killed? I feel like that's a pretty important oversight on their part.

All those involved in protest needs to be suspended since they can’t put 2 and 2 together that their protest does absolutely nothing in stopping a war.
Standing up for what they believe in!!!! Everyone has a right to their own opinions this is what our constitution was designed for! My respects and admiration to those that sacrifice their time, lives and wellbeing to shine light upon an oppressed people that need aid and a solution!!!

Most people don't understand that modern universities runs like a business. When classrooms and libraries are being taken over, other students won't be able to access them. When that money stop flowing in, that's a problem. If this is a peaceful protest, get a proper space that doesn't impede others from learning, get a proper permit for it. Without permits, protests can only be conducted on public streets or on sidewalks, as long as marchers don't obstruct car or pedestrian traffic. These students clearly don't know the laws of conducting a legal protest in the United States.
do students attending law schools and other educational facilities understand the concept of "private property" ? if and when you own a home, even a guest can be asked to leave and should comply.. they are perfectly free to go out on the street and howl at the moon as long as they don't interfere with others right to ignore them and peaceably pursue the life as fellow citizens. having a megaphone or a drum doesn't make you a rocket scientist.

Why don't these people go to Gaza and fight for Gaza then? Don't wanna risk your life? These people would only "fight" for Gaza when they are safe at home.
