UC Irvine won their conference title but playing in the NIT? Why play conference games if these conference tournaments are so important to getting to the NCAA tournament?

They had to lose less, and win their conference title. They only did one of those things… dummy

Also you’re the first person to ever complain about a 64 TEAM PLAYOFF. There are many factors and they absolutely don’t stack up. They couldn’t even beat Utah in the first round. They are flawed, and this is why you don’t pick the teams going into the tournaments LMAO

They won the regular season but lost to Long Beach in the conference tourney. Season matters but it's not a lock to get in like getting the automatic bid for winning the conference tournament....
