I'm pretty stoked about getting accepted and attending UCLA, my dream school, this fall! I'm just a bit upset that I won't be able to attend Bruin Day since I am currently living here on the East Coast.
That's too bad you'll be missing Bruin Day. We're so happy you'll be joining the family this fall, though! Orientation will help you get a feel for campus before school starts.
UCLA is great when you are going to school there... and even better after you graduate. I love and appreciate UCLA even more now that I'm an alum. Go Bruins.
I just got my acceptance and it is my top choice. As an out-of-state student, though, I didn't get a single penny of financial aid! This is the most disappointing news I've received :(
If you want to enter, I'll tell you the BIGGEST #1 Advice that 4.7~5.0 students that score really high on their SAT's and STILL dont get accepted. I know EXACTLY why that is. I KNOW what type of students UCLA accepts.
The #1 adive is to GET INVOLVED!!! Ucla accepts students who yes gets High grades in AP classes, High SAT scores, but most importantly being invovled in your school!!! Join clubs,sports,community service ect.Ucla accepts students who are very hard working and motivated students! BTW If you live out of state im sorry to say but your chances of getting accepted is much much harder:(
