Deanna tweeted about Norah and the puzzle and she said "The truth about [Norah] & the puzzle is that I just wanted something for her to do during her interview. If you watch the uncut interview footage, this girl is just picking up random & clearly incorrect pieces and haphazardly placing them wherever" I honestly want her to post some of the raw footage.
It's crazy to hear that Norah was thinking about quitting. She seems like such a pillar of this team, even as an underclassman, and always seemed to be having fun and enjoying herself. Just goes to show you don't know what people are going through. Glad she and Chris could connect and she could find that fire again.
I think UCLA having "growing pains" on beam is natural because in the past 3-4 years they had an insane depth of talented beamers! Some have since graduated leaving a team that used to rely on their scores in need of a deep push of confidence. I remember when they won their national title in 2018 their 3 anchors were Kyla, Katelyn, and Peng. I mean not even entire countries competing at the Olympic level have such back to back talent in a rotation! But mindset > challenges! Kyla's first year she struggled with her floor routine but she pushed through...to get a perfect 10 last year to finish off her college slam! This is the perfect time to start building leaders because the senior class is graduating, I see mini-leaders in the making with Norah, Kaly, Marz, and Nia all stepping up to fill in when needed. Go Bruins! Lets GO!
@@lnisme0295 I agree, beam is majorly about mental strength and focus; doesn't surprise me that they were strong with her and falling a bit without her. Kinda wish they had another strong female coach even though I like Waller I think.
@@easytoslip I actually really like Waller but I don't think he's coaching beam he usually does bars. Also they changed a lot of their coaching staff like Jordyn and that might also be a thing?
I seriously LOVE this team so much. The team, their attitude, the coaches, Deanna, all of it. There is an infinite amount of joy in my heart everytime I see one of these videos.
Love these series and the wonderful student-athletes showing us their personalities and pursuit of athlete competitiveness. Love love Norah yeah girl stay strong your path is wonderful.
“That’s my major... Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, basically like human cell bio...” -Kyla 2020. Can she repeat life and be my future daughter
I love this docuseries, and I think this is a wonderful platform to see the struggles and triumphs of this team... Its humbling and heartwarming.... So thank you!!! Go Bru!
This whole series gives me life I know I’ve said in the past but I feel like a member of the Team family but this is just on another level I feel like they’re all my sisters and I want nothing but the best for every single one of them and hard-working coaching staff and the athletic trainers to take care of them💙
the way this team just exists. the energy stays the same throughout graduating classes, and they all love going to practice and keeping a good reputation for this team. this team is their priority and they all LOVE eachother. if i did gymnastics and went to college for it, this is the team i would want to be on.
It makes me sad seeing how Norah wanted to quit and how she lost her passion for the sport especially since I’ve been following her since she was a junior elite. And Maddie Kocian how far has she come from an elite bar specialist to the leader of the team who would have thought.
What are they going to do without kyla and Maddie next year?!❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️😘😘😘😘😘😘😘💙❤️💙😘❤️💙😘😘😘😘😘😘 and Gracie and Nia and savi and fish? And all other seniors. Love you all and you are all a very important and impactful part of the team.
a problem with the incentive of a stick cape is that its easy to get stuck on the idea that you need to be perfect and one thing i know with this team is that they say "try to be normal, not perfect" or "do normal" because when you focus on being perfect its easier to mess up
sorry , I live in Eurpe and I don`t really understand how this works. If you are a university student in ucla and an athlete at the same time, when do you study? when do go to live class? is it online?
