Please let the students know who were the actual agressors. My child is a student at UCLA and she confined herself to her dorm. They are all still confining themselves to their dorms. She (all of the students) was being told that the proisrael protestors were the aggressors. UCLA students are on a quarter system and missing basically a week of their studies and this whole thing seems pointless from this vantage point. This has done nothing but hurt america. This did not help anyone anywhere.

The university campus is not a recognized state or city. Law enforcement does not take orders from them. If a criminal act takes place on campus, law enforcement has a right and duty to enforce the law anywhere on that campus. The fact the law enforcement refused to investigate and or take action is flat out corruption on the part of law enforcement. Laws cannot be selectively enforced. This is flat out misconduct on the part of law enforcement.

Class Action Lawsuit at Columbia U. brought by Jewish students who saw and experienced what you mentioned, and filmed it, (proof). UCLA, also has film of the same kinds of incidents taken by a student who was blocked from class because he was Jewish, even after showing his ID to the people blocking his progress and to the campus cop standing right there. I saw this film. It's clear proof, and it's online. They should sue for the lost class time that their tuition paid for, for the distress this caused and for the administration and teachers encouraging the protesting students and NOT protecting the Jewish students, but suggesting campus was unsafe for them and they should go home and finish the semester online. With multiple incidents in photos and online as proof, it'll be very telling if these suits don't win. Breach of contract? When the University cashes a tuition check that is a contract. The students go to class and follow the rules, the University protects the students and providing the education. The University isn't upholding their end of the deal. Columbia U. got a D grade from the Campus Antisemitism Report Card, they were in litigation and under investigation over this before the current problems, and the president who said she'd fix the problem is nowhere to be seen. If the campus is private property call in the police to clear out the protestors. Anyone arrested who is here as a guest in this country, on a Visa. revoke the Visa, and deport them. Any student breaking the law, behaving violently, expel, not suspend, them. Don't allow masks on campus, and all camera footage taken on campus should be made public record so businesses know who not to hire. Donors should stop giving money(don't worry, the University can get more from Qatar). And Jewish parents stop sending your kids to Ivy League schools that get lower than a C on the antisemitic report card. There are fixes, you just have to implement them.
