The fighting pitinos gave UConn all they can handle in the 1st half, but the huskies’ star Jordan Hawkins got hot and Sanogo doing his work inside was outstanding in the 2nd half

I've been a UCONN fan all my life, way back before the Jim Calhoun. If history repeats itself we have won multiple titles coming out of the west region!!. For some reason we shine thr most in the West. Credit to the fighting Petino's, despite this loss they had a wonderful team. Earlier today was pulling for Kennesaw State in an upset, shame on me for cheering against my Big East😂

Was a different Sanogo tonight. I saw Okafor out there. I didn't think he had it in him to be a game changer like that in NCAA Tournament. I was wrong. UConn should have played Clingan more verse Marquette in the 68-70 loss in the Big East tournament. Clingan got more run tonight and it showed. I always say an easy 2 is better than a missed 3. UConn had depth at every position. Hurley did a good job platooning his players in and out of the game. Alleyne, Calcaterra, and Diarra played big tonight. Jackson is 40% from 3 in the tournament. He's a lottery pick in the 2024 Draft. Now, it's time to take care of bidness against St. Mary's.

Sanogo and Andre are not NBA caliber players not at their current levels. Jordan is but the other 2 could come back, especially Andre. Plus they have a top 5 class coming in.

@@aidankuroski9425 the quality of the draft has dropped like a rock, James bouknight could barely handle the ball at uconn he was a top 15 pick after two years. Made no sense. These kids have no interest in staying at school anymore. Personally, I don't think any of them are that good. But now they make more money in d leagues and playing in Europe. It would be great if all 3 stayed, but all three are mocked into the draft, the lack of talent in college means all these athletic freshman are drafted even if they stink, 😂😂
