@@dfarrar23 I just heard she got cut from the Storm. The caps they have on WNBA suck. I really think that the NBA which is the parent organization should put more money into marketing the WNBA.

She's been a great addition to the team. Especially her defensive pressure. Once she starts working on her shot she will be more of a complete player. Moriah had the same issues when she first came to UConn then became a deadly shooter from the 3 point line. Go huskies..

With the talent they've already secured Uconn will be a very very good basketball team in the 2020-21 season......after that...and for at least a few years...they will return to dominance.
Amazing that she mentioned Maya Moore as her favorite UCONN player same as Caitlyn Clark. Another player like Maya who makes the game look easy is Paige.
Uconn is going to need a monster 2020 recruiting class to replace everyone who will be gone by then. 2 point guards so far is a great start. When was the last time we were able to have a real point guard rotation?
@@banthebagsalbany2288 Yeah, we will still have Nelson-Ododa, Williams, Coombs, Walker, and 2019 recruit Griffin. Maybe Camara. That's it though, unless we get some transfers.
All true. Had Azura Stevens NOT left with an extra year of eligibility all of this would look quite different. For me, I am thrilled to get this much early good news. It also emphasizes that Geno, CD and the team are working on recruiting all the time.
@@user-hh5rn4jz6o She transferred to play at UCONN and was under utilized after waiting a year to play. She got UCONN back in the game against ND, but the hall of famer started Crystal in the 2nd half and ran a play for Gabby to win the game. AZ was dominating ND and probably felt disrespected. Maybe that's why Marisa left too
Little do people know but Geno had something up his sleeve when he went to see Nika play he also took a detour to Poland to go get Anna Makurant he's the greatest
Marshall can flat out ball but she is leaning towards Stanford and Notre Dame. DeBerry in the 2021 is a big UConn lean right now and would give the big they need, Reese is the most overrated player in her class and is in no way a "UConn player". There are questions about her motor and she is very limited offensively at this point. I know UConn has shown interest but I doubt if they even end up offering a scholly.
the team will arguably be the fastest team they ever had next year, because of that lack of size. only way they win it next year is if ododa becomes a monster, which i highly doubt
Uconn needs tall players in order to return to a national championship. In my opinion I do not see them going to final four this year, but possibly 2021.
Lack of bigs and inconsistent shooting in big games cost them this year. The loss of Azura Stevens cost them the championship. I don't see UConn in the Sweet 16 next year. Could be surprised but I doubt it.
Wow people on this video comments keep saying we need tall players? Remember the 2002 team wasn't that big and still won by a land slide. Notre Dame should had beat Baylor they wasn't that big but Baylor was. Size dont matter. We need more talent, bench and leadership.
@Ronald Macafee true. But I believe ND would had came back but still loss. Maybe won. ND won the WNBA draft with 5 players. They could had won but then again I still think Baylor would had won.
@Ronald Macafee oh yeah. You must meant Skylar Diggings? Yeah she is fine and about to be a mom soon. I loved Swin Cash. I own two of her WNBA jerseys from Detroit days. Dont forget about Tamika Williams. But in my opinion probably the most beautiful basketball player I've ever seen was Bria Smith from Louisville. She's super gorgeous.
Two 6' 5 players or on the way,Gabriel is a 6'5 forward class of 2020 and Amilah DeBerry ranked no#3 in the class of 2021 6'5 from NY has committed today so along with Olivia Nelson Ododa who's 6'5 Thats great size for the future! Go Huskies💙
Looking back on this comment now...These players didn't do much for UCONN. Olivia was so inconsistent throughout her career, Gabriel transferred out , now Amari has become useless. So much for these players and their height..
