If you are wondering how to turn off or adjust the sensitivity of the Emergency Braking / Forward Collision Warning systems in your Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, or Ram vehicle with UConnect 5, then you need to watch this video!
Thanks for the video. I hate all of these nannies that they're putting in new cars because of idiots that don't know how to drive. I wish you could permanently disable it without having that pesky light show up on the dash. I'm tired of having it tell me I'm going to crash when there's nothing there, or when it slams on the brakes because I might bump into
Thanks for that. I had the FCW light showing off when my Uconnect updated on my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. I was thinking something was wrong with the system. Now I don't have to go the dealership! Jeep customer service is not very good. They make you bring in a vehicle before they will give you a loaner which doesn't help when there are none available because you can't reserve one.
I have a question Mike.. I just bought the 2023 jeep grand Cherokee limited... how do you know if it works like on a regular residential story if I don't stop does it tell you to brake in case im distracted.. I was told it only works on highway any word on how this works.. thanks.. Giuseppe
Iv'e got a 2024 GC overland. Parking in our garage it "thinks" I'm to close side and front. Some times locks the brakes and won't go forward or back. How do I change that sensitivity?? All ready tuned off auto brake. Dealer has no idea. Our garage is somewhat small 16' door normally has 2 cars in it have to clear mirror / door by an inch or two. forward by 18"- 24". It doesn't like that either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My mother in laws 23’ jeep grand Cherokees AC is making a hissing noise from the vents by the dashboard. Have you heard, seen or witnessed any issues with this? Or is it just how the jeep ac works
Hi Mike this was an awesome vid and thank you muchly. I was wondering also should a person set the sensitivity for med or near for the collision warning?
Hi, I’m having a heck-a-va time getting my rear brake assist to turn off on. My 2016 Grand Cherokee Summit Jeep so I can tow my trailer. I can’t back up without the rear assist coming on and stopping me. It won’t go off, I’ve tried everything on this Summit, but no go, any suggestions?
I have a 2022 compass limited. I have a backup camera, but it use to beep when there was someone behind me. Now it doesn’t and the dealership is telling me it should not beep. What do you have to say?
The only times it is annoying is a) when parked at home as I’m not on a slope and b) coffee drive ups I tend to put it in park while paying so if that’s on I have to then go back and like restart with people behind me it’s annoying
