This song lives in me. The story, the lyrics, the melody, it seems like it was written for me. I had a 3-year relationship with someone before, he introduced me this song. I immediately loved it. I just didn't realize that I could feel all the phases and timeline of every verse. From getting to know each other, from being the safe place of each other, from planning the future with each other- it seems like forever. Until Pandemic happened, everything vanished slowly, even his promise, even him. I just can't wrap my head around how udd beautifully uses tagalog in their opm masterpieces. this song made me cry just right after hearing the first few lines. udd captivated me first in 2005 as a high school student, and now 2021, I found myself once again sinking in their inescapable quicksand of beautifully written music.

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I still remember when this was released in 2017 as part of a commercial, but now it's even better when it was used in Gaya sa Pelikula. from the start of the song to the end of it, for me they're in love and then it fades as time goes but if you listen to it from the end and to the start, you can hear that they stay despite of the hardships in the middle of the song. like a poem we read from start to end and end to start, which gives you a different perspective. idk it's just what i think and the song is very beautiful.
