Here is a quick unboxing and complete teardown/disassembly of the Logitech Ultimate Ears Boom 3 bluetooth speaker. This video may be useful for those who has problem with their UE Boom 3 and wants to disassemble/perform repairs on their speaker, ex. bad battery, drivers, board, etc. It’s also perfect for those who just want to see the inside of this speaker. Since the charging port can be removed without tearing all apart, is it possible to replace it with type c port?

it seem doable, but i'm not sure if the speaker can regulate the voltage output from the usb-c.

Nice vdo, btw, in your opinion which portable bluetooth speakers, that you think deliver decent sound and wide stage sound? I have Sony, B&O, JBL..but still don't like their sounds.

Maybe it is but it does what it is supposed to do and that with brilliance. And obviously it is for outdoor usage, for the indoors there are better alternatives. Here a little review from my perspective that I wrote for another comment:

I have a Megaboom 3 since three years and no complaints at all… Everything works perfectly fine. I had the normal Boom 3 before that but one speaker was broken after one year so I returned it and got the Megaboom 3 for 10€ less because it dropped in price :) Three friends of mine also have the Megabooms since 4 years and they are working fine as well. Pairing them together works also very good if they arent more than 3 meters away from each other. And they are completely waterproof. We literally play waterball with them in a lake and nothing happens. Pool (Chlorine) is also perfectly fine. Last month I literally drove over the Megaboom of my friend with my bike at full speed because it dropped out of his backpack. I nearly kissed the cencrete but the Megaboom was completely fine (might not even get a scratch, but it has a lot of them already so we couldnt tell :D) So I would personally go for it but definitely look at the competition like the JBL Charge 5 because it is louder I think and has a little better bass imo. If you want it for indoor listening I wouldnt go with the Megaboom 3 but if you want to take it outdoors then I would go for the Megaboom. Just put a carabiner on the hook and you can literally put it anywhere, on your backpack, bike, fence… I also had it in the water compartment of my backpack while skiing :) If you get it for a good price you gonna get very happy and it just looks like an art piece.
