I watched part two, so I had to go back and watch part one. I can’t believe the price for these compared to other manufacturers. It’s the price of a single access point. Great solution.

These are hackable fairly easily. If you set the region to "Factory Test" you can select 6GHz frequencies which is good if you are in an area congested with 5 GHz signals.

Looks like a good product so far. If only this existed 5+ years ago (at this price) when my Dad was still running his business. It would have been a perfect solution for his location with the detached garage. Still, great to know about.

Thanks for watching Jeremy. Yup, totally agree with you. If this product lives up to its marketing, for the price it’s perfect for a home user/small business scenario. Looking forward to testing these outside. Have a great day.

Interesting product. I’ve used the Ubiquiti version of a bridge like this several times. They were easy to setup but this definitely looks to be even easier. Great video, Tony!

Thanks for watching Doug. I needed to find a simple cost effective solution that actually works for a local church outdoor festival that takes place twice a year. This bridge will fit the bill 10x over. Have a great day.

Hi Tony, that looks like a later unit to one I was sent about a year ago to review. Unfortunately, one of the two stations they sent to me was defective, so I never completed the review. I've always meant to try taking it apart and seeing if I could somehow fix it, but never seemed to have the time.

Thanks for watching David. I’m hoping it tests well. I have a use case at a church I service. Twice a year they host outdoor festivals. I’ve equipped them with outdoor wifi, so that’s not an issue. However, they use Clover credit card terminals on wifi, but the printers are hard wired only and are located in a stand across the parking lot from the church. This year we ran temporary long ethernet cables to the printers. I’m hoping this wireless bridge could fill that void even if setup temporarily on tripods. Still much better than running ethernet cables across the parking lot.

@@QuikTechSolutions Tony, I'm sure it will go well. I was disappointed when I had the defected unit and they would not replace it. I had invested in some test apparatus that has been sitting in its box for over a year that I may never use.

Thanks for watching. Do you mean an access point? You should already have a router as your gateway to the Internet.

Does it work if there is a building in the way from line of sight?
@QuikTechSolutions
@QuikTechSolutions 11 месяцев назад
I did not test this as line of sight is optimal. A building in the way will definitely impede the performance of most wireless bridge setups.

@@QuikTechSolutions Hmm, ok I want to extend my home network to the front gate of my property, about half a mile from my house but the barn is in the way, any suggestions?
@QuikTechSolutions
@QuikTechSolutions 11 месяцев назад
Suggestion is to get them up as high as possible, best if you can get them higher than the barn.

Ok, wait a second. You got internet access through the client end of your wireless bridge without connecting the host side to any internet source? These radios are easy to set up but they can't magically go out and find internet with nothing connected to them.
@QuikTechSolutions

Hi Michael, not at all. I connected the transmitter side of the bridge to my network switch, giving the transmitter side Internet access. See 7:55 mark in the video. Have a great day.

The config & setup is absolutely horrible. It works out of the box, sorta, but if you touch anything it falls apart and won't come back to the way it was. Not even after a factory reset
