The thing what adesanya is his stance, no one moves the way he moves he makes his punches and kicked sometimes unpredictable. U dont see him bobbing back n forth like boxers
Israel kept the distance so good. Its not easy at all to be Costa and have to shorten the distance because every time he goes inside the distance Israel has a dangerous punch waiting for him. Also those kicks hurt Costa badly too. Israel is strong, very fast, very precise and very skilled.

@Isaias Urrutia gotta agree i think Costa had the pressure get to him, he really didn't let his hands go and was overthinking instead of flowing. the best example is at 1:45 when he pushes Adensanya up against the cage. Look at his hands, it's like he wants to throw, but he just doesn't.

It's part of his game plan to get adesanya to overextend, get flustered and eat big punches from Costa. But he's a champ for a reason, he didn't bite on any of those.

i lost 10 bucks on costa . thought that if he even catches a single blitz of punches on israel's face it's gone be over , after all adesanya has over 100 professional fights in his career along with kickboxing so his chin has to be something worn off
Nah , I still dont like the guy and I hope he gets its soon enough anyway, Costa had an incompatible gameplan but I'm sure someone will dethrone him again somewhere down the road, that is just how things roll.

Izzy looked good the entire fight, so glad he pulled this one out! It didn’t even look like he touched him on that last punch that put Costa down, it was like it only grazed him, lol.
the head kick already did d damage, he was wobbled but was able to hide it from, but u could see clearly he backed up instantly, the knockdown from the grazed punch was just a reaction to the damage, plus it the punch u did not see that knocks u down, when u anticipate a punch, you can mentally take it in, or roll with it.
His brain was already concussed from the head kick, plus his lead leg might have gave up from too much damage to the knee. The graze to the temple put the nail in the coffin. He would have endured a lot of damage if the match didn't end there. He got outclassed by the superior striker.
@@skive800 also i dont think he hit the temple, it looked like the punch hit the ear, which is the best spot to throw off your opponents balance, add that to the damaged leg and its no wonder costa fell down.

Never noticed how short Costas arm were until this fight, I saw the 73 inch reach vs 80 but the thing is that they count the width of the back and costa got a big back so his real reach might be lower than 70, almost at Artem level.
Adesanya's brutal leg kicks shattered Paulo's strategy of forward pressure. Izzy outclassed him in terms of stance first. The two kicks at the start of the 2nd round were enough for him to mentally surrender then and there itself.

Adesayna made me a believer last night! Best fight of his life on the biggest stage! Costa is an animal and he totally outclassed him and made it look easy. Didn't see it going down like that at all. He's unbeatable! Brilliant game plan! WOW!!
Guys I was cheering Costa, but damn, this was a one-sides fight, I didn't expext it. Now, I don't know Costa's background in the martial arts, but it's evident that the strikyng of an MMA guy will never be as good as a kickboxer's one (this fight has been a kickboxing fight basically). The ability of Adesanya to keep patience and to relese some wonderfull combos when it's typicol of a kickboxer. Even if I don't like him I have to give some credits, good work Adesanya👍🏻

I don't understand why Costa didn't pressure Adesanya so that way its difficult for Adesanya to strike as he needs space to do so and Costa being black belt jujitsu to grab him to take down. It wasn't the normal Costa fighting style. Strange i say.🤷♂️
