We literally witnessed a Hollywood feel good movie, man grew up in a poor area in Brazil and came to America and made it to the big leagues as a 20 year old kid and 10 years later he’s the world champion. Fucking poetry.
@@surfingtothestars Aldo did it earlier in his walk tough, his story is also a Cinderela story but Do Bronx is almost unbelievable. For those who don't know Charles Oliveira was born with a physical disability that kept him in a wheelchair till he was 7 years old, he went to a jiu jitsu class the first time to help with his recovery. 11 years later he starts fighting in MMA, then at age 20 joins the UFC where he has a journey of a lots of ups and a lot of downs, until he finally matures enough both technically and mentally and starts this incredible 9 straight wins run culminating with a title 28 fights after his UFC debut, breaking Bisping's old record of 27.
@@31olegna you are right but mostly it is because of the nature of the sport. Me personally even if the guy could be the most disrespectful person ever I still feel bad after his loose Vice versa the other way too.
@@duchyasyesgat1801 yeah that's fair. For instance I didn't feel bad for Colby when he lost to Usman but I did get an overwhelming respect for him for his performance.
AMAZING reaction!! I jumped and screamed a lot, this is one of the best moments in the last years for me. Being a brazilian it was even more intense, EVERYONE was rooting for Charles
Ive never got so nervous and hyped to a ufc title in a while. And after that terrible first round and that incredible comeback all went more emotional. 28 fights. Its a long journey.
Man, I KNOW there’s a good woman somewhere that decorated this room. You got coordinated colors with contrasting pillow case patterns. What a fight! Its hard not to feel good for Oliveira.
