I believe it. When I logged in to the UFC Fight Club presale and saw that the same ticket I bought last year for $650 was now $1750 I thought holy cow. And they almost all sold out immediately then the dynamic pricing shot it up to over $2000.

Dana even said that fight will always be there and Nate said trilogy will happen I’m sure that will be his last fight of his contract. Revenue numbers are a poor comparative metric because of inflation. Ticket prices are ridiculously higher now than ever before, so of course the total gate is going to continue to increase.

I love Conor and I’m glad he has all these records but we aren’t taking into effect what has happened to value of the dollar & inflation from 10-12 yrs ago. My house has gone up $800,000 since then. A brand new loaded Escalade went from $50,000 to $95,000 since then. This fight would break a record no matter what with the Conor effect but of course they’re now charging top what they can for tickets -if they weren’t selling they would have dropped them until they got to a price they’d sell out quick. So would’ve broke a record anyway. But we can’t simply go on price of tickets because in 10 yrs someone will have a big sell out fight card but it will be because ticket prices went up. There is smoke and mirrors here with everyone else -Conor will just draw no matter what. It would be the same price if he was unbeaten and thats crazy to think about.
