Leon lost because his dog got sick and he was worried the whole fight. not a legitimate win, will never be a champion. scared of the rematch since he got destroyed in their first fight , he cried and literally gave up
No one can deny how much Belal improved since the burns fight. It was like watching a totally different fighter. His pace and pressure was LITERALLY like khabib. Walking right in Leon’s chest and stayed composed.
He mostly improved physically (explosivity, handspeed, strength) - at age 36 and within one camp. One of the most obvious and egregious examples of PEDs in the current era. He fought the same crappy way he did the first Leon fight, just way quicker and more powerful. And he STILL got saved by the bell in round 5.
Dude suddenly became much faster, more durable and more explosive - within one camp and at age 36. He was so obviously on gear, it was just hilarious. Especially since I'd wager they wouldn't have allowed him to if not for Rob decapitating Ikram in Saudi Arabia. The oil investors wanted some more representation.
@@MAkAVeLlIiii dont act like usman is trash or smth he's still a legit contender and did go to middleweight against a scary opponent and did put a good fight even the 3 fight against leon was a close one
@@MAkAVeLlIiiihe said he's fighting shavkat next. Idk why y'all still on usman. All usman needs is one top 5 opponent and he's back for a title shots he lost to Leon twice and lost to khamzat st 185. This is weterweight, and he loss by a split decision and some ppl even had usman winning that fight. Arguablez

I like the way you guys conduct an interview. You ask real questions to your guests that you actually mean and you make them think about it. This interview with the champ was great and honest. On the night when Belal became the champ, it put a smile on my face to watch Palestinians just for a minut smile and be happy for him. In the middle of their pain they were proud of Belal. That was such a great, emotional and beautiful experience 🙏🏽
@@jimberry5318 if belal beats shavkat that would be better than any opponents that gsp faced but ofc if belal beats him you casuals will try to discredit shavkat by saying he is overrated
@@jimberry5318 belal's resume already comparable to Gsp's. And those ancient 12 fight title fights shits aren’t relevant anymore. Competition level is very high rn. Belal definitely moves to top 3 ww if he wins his next match.
@cha0s1999yes he does I don’t know why people always discredit resumes before championship status. Plus GSP got a title shot before Usman or belal did so he had more time to rack up defenses
Belal is a well-rounded, disciplined fighter who trains hard, learns quick, listens to his coaches, minimizes injury, adapts to each opponent, calculates his risks, wins fights, silences doubters, smiles through the hate, keeps moving forward and continues to rise. Humble background. Family-oriented. Proven work ethic. Killer physique. Age-defying cardio. Intelligent, kind-hearted, generous and real. Many claim to be Blessed… with Belal it’s evident! Godspeed champ! 🍉
can not say enough how happy I am that the belt belongs to a guy who wants to stay active and pick apart the division. saved the division from leons snoozefest of inactivity.
Congratulations on the victory and the belt... but some humility... there have been many champions whe failed to defend the belt...there is alot of work to do... can't wait to see the story play out... GSP is still the welterweight 🐐
I would love to see the rematch with Gilbert Byrns ! Most importantly revel in your reign at the top 👍 keep up with offering inspiration to the youngsters and those struggling bud 👍
Belal' remember Canelo aint got nothing of me' Mohammad :D :D I'm a fan of belal, ive always tended to sympathize with the one counted out, im just poking fun at his canelo comment hahaha belal be trolling on another level hahaha
After Shavkat there's no one else really. I think Usman would be good for his resume, but he's pretty much at the end of his career. I get what he's saying about building a legacy, but sadly the welterweight division is pretty flat at the moment. Guys like JDM and Ian Garry aren't big names. Ian Garry couldn't submit MVP who has zero ground game... JDM beat Burns which is pretty respectable but honestly he's like 2 or 3 fights away from being title shot worthy. I wouldn't blame Belal for moving up to middleweight after 2 title defenses. At least at middleweight there's like 5 or 6 big names floating around.
@@Mendoza1414 True, maybe neither of them gets the fight tho and ufc gifts the shot to joaauin buckley or sum judging by their recent title shot giveaway to a no. 8 guy 😂
Glad he won outside politics. I had him beating Leon easily . He will run turn Useman with his two lame knees. Raymon wil be more difficult . But Balal is a beat.
The fight to make is Muhammad vs Shavkat. Usman needs to win before getting title shot again. I say put Usman vs Jack Della. Leon should fight winner of Sean Brady vs Burns
@@aboodthebest7726 I was thinking Garry vs Colby would be better. With Leon I don't think he will come back until 2025. That is why I thought winner of Burns/Brady will be better for Leon. I don't see Leon fighting until March or April of 2025.
Funny enough I think Belal beats both & I am the biggest Usman fan. Rakhmono last fight against Thompson, Neal and Magny. Hardly the resume. I think Belal's mentality and tactics would give him the edge if the employed the usual pace.
As anybody seen any interview at all ir seen leon anywhere since the fight with belal. At least own up to your loss like a man he as literally just vanished. I respect fighters thst despite how they are feeling they can still talk to the media afterwards
I think leon always disappear after every fight no? maybe it's just me but I feel like I never saw leon make public appearance after his fight besides after that one head kick
God willing, I didn’t think Belal would be champ last year, Alhamdulilah he proved me wrong and made history ! I believe he’s the first ever Arabic champion in the UFC
@@watermelon5745 MMA fans act like he will lose his belt in his next fight Guarenteed. They are blinded by hate. So it kinda is a hot take as least to all the casuals
@@ESPSJGSP: 21 W’s in UFC- 3 sub, 4 KO TKO 33% finish rate. Belal: 15 W’s in UFC- 1 sub, 2 KO TKO 20% finish rate. His point is Belal is comically boring, he has pillow hands, and he legit lays on his opponents for most of the fight. Belal doesn’t even chase finishes on the ground, he just acts like a human blanket lol. Dana better get Belal to sign that dotted line before he decides to run from Shavkat again lol
