Saying there were worse stoppages in history doesn’t make it any better. The main card was pretty fun and is understandably overshadowed by the abomination of a stoppage. And Reyes didn’t get a bonus are you kidding me?? 🤦🏻‍♂️

The holes want to close on their own. The safety pins stop that when you don't have earrings in.

It's rare that a fight gets stopped like that, but if it was a boxing fight, it could easily get stopped the way he kept turning his back and getting hit repeatedly without returning fire. That said, he was likely recovering, and most mma fights go well beyond that point.

In boxing there are no spinning attacks allowed, or one that would come from an opponent turning their back, so it is much different scenario for a boxer to turn their back on an opponent. In MMA there are plenty of opportunities that arise from a fighter turning or spinning around, spinning back fist (Serra/Carter) spanning back elbow (Jones) or spinning back kick (Val/Grasso). There is no comparison in a boxing stoppage and this one imo.

If imavov wouldnt have immediately poked jared in the eyes n then make a point to keep doing it fight would have gone dif i feel like jared was grappling to keep from getting eye gouged

More and more fights are getting stopped while standing. Not good. It used to only be once in a great while. Now we “save” the fighter when yes they are being overwhelmed a bit but are throwing back or loading up.

They stopped it early because it wasn't ppv and it was about to be 11pm when the event was scheduled to be over. Tuf just so happened to be the next scheduled program. Seems fish to me. They must have told the ref to find any reason to end the fight
