UFL Mini-Movie - The St. Louis Battlehawks Untold Story
St. Louis….one of the longest and most storied sports cities in the United States. A city filled with thrilling memories of St. Louis Cardinals world series championships, a St. Louis Blues NHL franchise with a rich history ranging from Brett Hull and his unbelievable seasons as the NHL scoring leader all the way to the Blues’ incredible Stanley Cup win in 2019 against the Boston Bruins in a thrilling Game 7. And, of course, the greatest show on turf, the St. Louis Rams and their electrifying offense with Hall of Famers Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Issac Bruce, Orlando Pace, and their Head Coach Dick Vermeil. The St. Louis fans have had a lot to cheer about over the years. And one more franchise to build their enthusiasm for professional football is none other than the St. Louis Battlehawks. Today, we continue our United Football League Mini-Movie series with the franchise where “Kaw is Law” and where everybody is saying “Ka-kaw”! Are you ready?? Lets it started!!

Battlehawk is a nod to the St. Louis history of producing military aviation. (Its not about an actual bird) The winged logo also says STL when looked at with the wings down

The championship is being held at STL, and "if" we have the best record in our division going into the playoffs, then we host the playoff game too. I love this city sm lol

Being from CA, I miss my Wildcats, but the Battlehawks are my favorite UFL team followed by Birmingham since the have a number of players from my Alma Mater, San Diego State. Here’s one: “I fought the Kaw and the KAW won!”

I’ll say this I’m not gonna say his name but one of my child hood friends played 3 years for the rams his first year was in St. Louis and his other 2 was in LA and he said the love he got in St Louis doesn’t even compare in LA he said them people love there football like we do in Texas he played. He loves that passion he played for Texas Tech

Not to mention "Broadway" Joe Namath as well (for those wondering, he played one year for the Rams before retiring after the 1977 season).

I hope the NFL is listening to the fans because St. Louis definitely deserves an expansion team. Only UFL fan base that is consistently putting asses in seats. I just feel like the Rams should’ve stayed in St. Louis and have the chargers in LA. St. Louis needs an NFL franchise

The Rams deserve to be back in Hollywood. BTW just in case St. Louis is awarded an NFL expansion team, it should be community owned similar to the Green Bay Packers.

@@karlc2869 that is a good idea actually. I say it all the time the Rams should be in Hollywood but nobody seems to care about the chargers. Most games I see their fans are about 50/50 with the visiting teams. They should have stayed in San Diego. St. Louis deserves a team for sure. It’s crazy they are getting 30-40k fans for a spring league

I'm excited for the UFL.. but as a New Englander, who the hell do I root for? Guess maybe I'll become a fan of a team eventually.. until then I'm just glad to watch some spring football.

I chose the battlehawks last year because ive vistited st.louis for cardinal games, but i almost chose vipers because of the color scheme since im a falcons fan. But ultimatley i liked the bird aspect more, even if its not supposed to represent a bird-ish ( just by what people said in the comments) i didnt even see who they players were just blindy chose and devout my loyalty to them

So much of this video is completely wrong and takes minutes to confirm. The battlehawk is a nod to McDonald Douglas making military helicopters. The battlehawks do not open their season against Arlington, they open against michigan panthers, and Johnathon Hayes did return to the XFL in 2023 but he went to Arlington with his brother Jay Hayes and offensive coordinator Chuck Long.
