@Zyworski Thanks, and Happy 2012! Talking of Schenker, he's playing brilliantly again these days. Since 2008, he's been on the up again. He's unique, and should be as well-known as Hendrix.
Chapman is brilliant - 'This isn't Schenker - not as good as Michael blah blah boody blahh' bollocks - Chapman did most of the lead work on the Phenomenom tour in 74 while Michael just stood by the drum kit - this is a fact that has never been explained by any UFO fan.
@Zyworski Tonka Chapman has never tried to be neo-classical. That's the territory of Schenker, Blackmore and Uli Roth. Chapman is simply a great heavy/progressive guitarist. Good old Eric Simpson, who told me this was to be on TV in '79!
