In my humble opinion, UFO was one of the best group for teen ages - for growing up from music chips like Kiss or Spinal Tap.... to high level rock lineups...
+cjshaker Seen them in early 80s with ozzy then cheap trick. love oz+ctk but UFO FUKIN DESTROYED THE PLACE. ONLY AEROSMITH+PAGE PLANT WERE AS GOOD AS UFO. There coming to LA soon, think ill stop by.
Just wasn't the same without Schenker...Chapman couldn't play his licks to save his life. They should have taken a break and found a real gunslinger...no shortage of hotshots during that time, especially since everyone was trying to play at EVH level. Either of those two guitarist that did session work for Bob Ezrin would have fit nicely. They all got back together 15 years later for a pretty decent album..."Walk On Water".
Walk On Water is a great album. And you're right about the two guitarists that played for Ezrin, Wagner and Hunter, in fact Phil Mogg said they should have gotten Steve "The Deacon" Hunter after Schenker left, instead of chapman, who ruins this, and every other Schenker lead he tried to play.
@@1Phepsi fuck you, chapman had fire in his leads although not as fast as schenker, but with tons of groove, both were/are powerful but technically way different, paul had groove, schenker was faster, both were fierce but also tasty players, personally i can´t put one over another, love both of them, if you thought fuck when paul did leads, then clean your ears, change da dealer and come back. ufo just rocks hard with both eras, mike´s one as well as paul´s years.
@@nathanevangello3376, No, fuck you! I saw Chapman with UFO at least 7 times, and each time he mangled the leads on the Schenker songs, and screwed up when playing his own. He was better in the studio than live on stage.
