That just tells me you don’t understand what scientific laws or theories are. A Scientific Theory is not the same thing as a colloquial “theory” (i.e., an “hypothesis”). Those laws of physics are what allow you to use the device you’re currently using. While there is still much to learn about the physical world and our knowledge is incomplete, that doesn’t mean that what we do know is somehow wrong. If you don’t believe the law of gravity that says objects accelerate and fall at a specific rate, you can always test it by jumping out of an airplane without a parachute. The “law” is a simple fact; “why” and “how” gravity occurs is the as yet open question. It’s not a “theory” that objects fall at a certain rate.

Regarding wormholes, I believe that their "initial" creation also requires time because, intuitively speaking, a spacetime disturbance would also propagate at the speed of light. On a side note, we don't really know where the speed of light comes from, we only know that light travels at that speed. The speed itself is a property of space, but where it comes from and why it has that particular value remains unknown.
