A portrait of an artist as a young man:- It is a kunstelerroman written by James joyce ,an Irish writer, novelist and a pioneer of using steam of consciousness technique .It is published in 1916. An active story revolves around the protagonist Stephen Dedalus,his struggle to fight against the religious, cultural and social boundaries that enforces an individual to be stuck into it ,ignoring personal pleasure,boundless joy in life.whenever he wants to enjoy the life ,to fulfill his inbuilt fleshy desires the rigid catholic dogmas,the standard cultural values and national norms as a civilized brings guilty in his mind. He finds himself uncontended and tries to restore himself spiritually after a sermon heard about sin, destruction and salvation in a spiritual retreat.but what he gets at the end is failure and finally decides to explore his life with happiness like a free bird above every bondage or "what will other think".

Soon appointed as Clerk of King's Ship,clerk of Privy seal.1665 became Surveyor General showed himself as energetic official zealous reformer of abuses. Owning to an unfounded fear of failing eyesight closed diary on 31 May 1669.

INVISIBLE MAN: A surreal and claustrophobic novel by Ellison pub(1952) ,which describes the experiences of a young African American in New York, drawing partly on Richard Wright's NATIVE SON. It has dense style packed with multiple allusions.

GINSBERG'S HOWL [ 1956 ]. "HOWl" also known as howl for carl salmon. Is a poem written by Allen Ginsberg (1954-1955) and published in his 1956 collection howl and other poems. Ginsberg began work on "howl"in 1954. In the Paul black burn tape archive at UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SAN DIEGO. " Howl" is considered to be one of the great work of American literature. It came to associated with the group of writers know as the beat generation. It is not true that "HOWL" was written as a performance pice and latter published by poet Lawrence city of light books. On - OCT 3,1957 judje Clayton w. Horm ruled that the poem was not obsence.

INVISIBLE MAN is ralph Ellison's first novel published by random House in 1952. It addressed many of the social and Intrectual issues faced by AFRICAN AMERICANS in the early 20th century including Black Nationalism, the relationship between blck identity and MARXISM and the reformist racial policies of BooKer T. Washington as well as issues of individuality and personal identity.
