*Apologies for the audio issues in the beginning.
We are back with the 1st Batrep of 2023.
Apologies this one took so long but life has been busy, busy ,busy.
I am marching into the new year with a new army...dipping my toes into the oh so sweet
waters of the evil armies. Going with Ugluk Scouts (with our very own speedy Mahures the sombrero
wearing Uruk) my first opponent in Connor W who has traded his Azogs Legion for Big Pimpin and his Serpent Horde.

@6:00 drummer drums, that's means he can't charge, also it seems a bit like you use the knowledge of where the warband is turning up at a maelstrom 4 to determine what the drummer does, it probably didn't have a huge impact but it's cheating😅. I usually find that if I accidentally do something too early (roll maelstrom deployment before all movement in this case) I usually suggest to my opponent "this is what i would have done if i didn't know, does that make sense to you?

You're just right! I had absolutely no idea what I was doing with scouts back then but I have learned quite alot since that fateful day of defeat against my counterpart. Much the same with the maelstrom deployment rules. This battle was meant to be a bit of a laugh where we both ignored the right decisions entirely but it worked out 🤣 thank so much for the comment it's always appreciated🤘
