Something about the split vocals in this really speak to me. Like two halves of a mind that are on the same track, but never quite seem to sync up right... until they get to the point of giving up, just lying down.

As someone with really bad ADHD and who grew up as a boy scout this song is fascinating. Trying not to get lost the woods, life and death...cursive on the horizon? Mind blown

I have no idea but I feel like this song is about a tree being cut down. Cat face is a term loggers use to describe a feature of a tree Like where a branch broke off and there is scar left. When you cut a tree with a cat face in it that's the week side so that's where you put your face cut. When he says my chain hit the wood and the wood turns to dust that sound like a chain saw cutting a tree. And when he says I lay down with the southern range that makes me think of a geographical feature to describe where one is logging. Like all the trees in the southern range have been cut. I'm probably wrong and my mind is probably to shallow to get the real meaning. But that what It sounds like to me. Any thoughts?

This song hits me hard right now.. Met my ex in rehab, i was homeless, jobless, carless, i had nothing. She saw something in me though, she was obsessed with cats lol. Only thing that gave her any happiness anymore after years of drug abuse and trauma, but we made each other happy for a little while. "One more thing to do before we shut our eyes, and thats blame me, and ill blame you, and we're both right" That line hits especially hard given our situation

If someone would ask me, what song I would recommend her/him , that she/he definitely doesn´t know, I would say this one. Obviously, it´s a shame that this song doesn´t have millions of views, but I actually like this feeling, that I know where the trasure is, and they don´t.
