Chowder is adorable, the way he screams the product he’s selling even on an empty street shows his enthusiasm and dedication, I love that cat, bear, bunny.

@@jordanriederer1518I assumed it was some different currency all together, as in one specific for that world. It's probably a reasonable price if a kid is selling it outside in the masses like a kid selling cups of lemonade for 25 cents
@@jordanriederer1518No, it is definitely based off of American currency. Almost every episode featuring money-excluding a few select jokes-has prices within the range of what it would cost with USDs. Not to mention the show uses green currency for dollops and gold coins for one dollop, with a few other coins taking the place of cents.

I still can’t get over how Mung was stealing the food rather than telling chowder how he put rat poison in them, and chowder was charging a crazy high price, I mean dude took em all and he goes “YOU OWE ME 300 DOLLARS!”

Just a little fact, for us latinamericans the joke was even funnier cause Chowder says "no, ugly ladies pay double" idk why they added that but I'm glad they did

I mean to be fair the reason mung to asking for a free sample is because he spent all his money buying chowder's food from..... the candle headed kid (forgot his name) so he wouldn't die because chowder used poison from the spice cabinet
The way he shouts out *_"BURPLE NURPLES!!!"_* straight off the bat has that same vibe of that guy from Invader Zim at the hotdog stand shouting *_"DELICIOUS WEENIE!!!"_*
I’ve always viewed the era this show was on as the prime of my childhood. Me and my brother, now in our 20s look back and laugh about how good this show was, the humor still holds up so well
My favourite part of this show is the naming conventions. Mung IRL is a type of bean, and Chowder IRL is a type of soup. So Gumbo, a soup made with beans, as a character just looks like a creepy fusion of Mung and Chowder.
Chowder was one of the last great Cartoon Network show IMO. As a guy who grew up on the 90s and 2000s cartoons, modern age cartoons took a drastic drop. They used to have great comedic timing, some subtly mixed with the craziness, life lessons to learn, adult humor that kids more than likely wouldn't pick up on, and just overall great writing and animation.
Miss that Cartoon Network would only play the same six episodes 😅. I switched over to RU-vid and iTunes/Apple TV after that. Also so I could see the new episodes to Adventure time. Also wayyyy tooo mush Johnny Test. But I am glad they are working to make the show better.
