Only music lovers who grew up on a diet of British New Wave and all its configurations can truly appreciate the genius percussion style and beautiful melodies of Adam Ant. I recommend Strip, Desperate but not Serious,Antmusic, and Goody Two Shoes!
"The human beings" and "Jolly Roger". Two songs that probably wouldn't pass the critical judgement of today's political correctness. It's very sad that we are drifting back into the stubborness of the fifties.
When Adam and The Ants broke into the 80,s charts it was such a different sound, and most of us had never heard of a band with two drummers, they just blew up and had hit after hit.
"Stand and Deliver" is a song by Adam and the Ants, released in 1981. The lyrics tell the story of a character who is a dandy highwayman, a flamboyant and stylish robber. The protagonist boasts about his bold and fashionable appearance, emphasizing his disdain for conventional fashion. He mocks those who conform to societal norms and stereotypes, presenting himself as a rebellious figure challenging the status quo. The repeated refrain "Stand and deliver your money or your life" is a bold declaration of the highwayman's intent, blending elements of danger with the theatricality of the character. The use of a mirror instead of a weapon adds a touch of irony, suggesting a defiance of traditional methods of robbery. The lyrics also express a critique of superficiality and materialism. The highwayman questions the value of robbing when "nothing is worth taking," suggesting a commentary on the emptiness of consumer culture. Towards the end, the invitation to "throw your safety overboard and join our insect nation" hints at a collective rebellion against conformity, inviting others to reject societal norms and join a subversive movement. Overall, "Stand and Deliver" is a song that combines elements of punk, new wave, and glam rock, delivering a message of rebellion, individualism, and a rejection of societal expectations. The theatrical and flamboyant persona of the dandy highwayman becomes a symbol of resistance and nonconformity.
You are right about subversion, but I don't think it's "insect nation" (even though the lyric sites say it is), because it doesn't make sense. It could be "inscenation" meaning staging, setting, or 'feeling yourself into the scene'.
@@andymorrall Adam Ant's fans were known as, and referred to in previous songs, as 'Antpeople' so 'Insect Nation' makes complete sense to me as a collective of like minded people rebelling against conformity (and, unintentionally ironically, dressing and getting made up like Adam Ant and thus conforming after all). A few singles had been released from the previous album which had the double drums, clattering drum sticks, deep voices and yelps and led to the buildup of his fanbase, and then this new track came out incorporating everything he'd done previously and it was a huge hit.
Adam And the Ants was my favorite band as a teenager in the 80s. They always looked like they were having so much fun. Here, Adam was a stagecoach bandit who holds up coaches so he can just insult rich people's boring fashion choices. He's like, I'm not going to shoot anyone I'm just going to hold up a mirror and embarrass you.
I was an American in England in 80,81 and 82. This guy was huge then. We were all fans. He was/is super talented, he literally created his own genre of music, he should have been bigger. Mental illness is a thing and people need to start taking it a lot more serious. He should be an inspiration, he's battled his demons and has controlled them and he's doing great. Love me some Ant Music! And when he was a boy his mom was Paul McCartney's housekeeper!
Jay, man! You gotta embrace the madness. This is very much the irreverent side of the New Romantic movement, Adam Ant was definitely the wildest of 80s wild boys and we loved him for it. This band definitely had the most ecclectic and unique sound in the scene (helped in no small part from having TWO drummers!) and produced a whole slew of really great music. Antmusic is their best, along with the likes of Prince Charming, Goody Two Shoes, Kings of the Wild Frontier and Dog Eat Dog.
Finally some Adam Ant! My favourite Adam and the Ants tune! “Stand and deliver! Your money or your life!” It’s what a coach robber (a highwayman) would say! Give me your money or I will take your life!
During my high school years I was all about Prince and Adam Ant. The “Stand and Deliver” video was my intro to Adam and the Ants..and I was hooked. “Goody Two Shoes” is definitely the next song they should react to. “Ant Music” is also a really great song.
Obviously this seems to be an acquired taste. I acquired this taste in the 80's. Still love it and always will. Antmusic would have been a better song to start with. PS ...I had quite a few friends back in the 80's think I was odd for liking it so much.
Either of these songs would be better for someone who finds this kind of thing difficult to process. Maybe Bow Wow Wow's Do You Wanna Hold Me also opens up the drumming aspect of this scene a bit for Americans as they were definitely more alternative artists here.
Seeing Amber’s reaction compared to Rob’s is hilarious. She absolutely get’s it and is full of joy, while he’s totally bemused, stoney faced and non- plussed. 😂 I’m with Amber. It’s a great song, full of fun and a great video.
Adam is a friend...we met on the set of his film, Love Bites...he's a great guy and very talented. He serenaded me once, singing the old standard, Dont Sit Under the Apple Tree. Incredible voice.
"So what's the point of robbery when nothing is worth taking?" Wise words! I was such an Ant fan. Adam and his boys celebrated difference, style, being yourself above everything else. Their music had a parallel with 80's rap, too - the focus on show-off, self-proclaiming lyrics, peacocking, basically. Their songs in large part were about how cool they were and how everyone who feels like an outsider should come and join the Insect Nation and be cool like them. I got to see them play on tour with the Boomtown Rats, and they gave the greatest show ever. So much sass and fun! And KILLER CLOTHES!!
*OMG!!!!!* *I LOVE ADAM ANT!!!!!* Early Adam and The Ants was one step from punk with "Xerox" "Kings of the Wild Frontier" and "Car Trouble." His sound changed and got rather pop for the next couple of albums. He struggled with mental illness and kept putting out music until the early 90s when the fight got the best of him for a bit. He came back with the album "Wonderul" on which the title track is amazing. He has also done quite a bit of acting both in movies and TV.
Everyone has different tastes, a bit like punk. You can't dismiss Adam and The Ants!!! Bloody awesome. Maybe it's a British thing only, but these guys were HUGE back in the day. It's full of British humour and culture of the day. I was a huge fan and the videos were reflective of the lifestyles of some of our New Wave fans of the day. They are still respected today by many fans. Ant Rap & Prince Charming, huge favourites too. 👏👏
Don't overthink it guys, it's just a bit of fun. He's drawing on the Romantic period of British history with a bit of native American influences and the drum beats are African Burundi. It was the New Romantic period of UK pop history which was all about dressing up and posing. Check out Bow Wow Wow, Visage, Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood it will give greater clarity
That particular period ('79-'80-'81-'82) gave us some very unique songs. This one, Rock Lobster, & whip it all came out then. It was a very "steppin' outside the box" time.
Yep, Amber indeed understood. Perhaps Jay would've found Prince Charming an easier introduction, given that the Cinderella theme and the "Ridicule is nothing to be scared of" philosophy is simpler to grasp?
YAY!!! ADAM & THE ANTS!!! LOVE THEM!!! I always thought he was just so HANDSOME!! LOVED their STYLE!!! I second Goody Two Shoes & Ant Music!!! HUGS, YA'LL!!!
Let me tell you a long, personal story. As a student, I lived (in Edinburgh) opposite a music venue and typically new bands played on a Monday night. You could judge how well a new band would do by the queue outside the venue at about 7.30 pm (bands came on at about 9 pm). My flat was two streets away from the bus stop where I got off to go there. One night only, both streets were entirely full, absolutely heaving, no room. It took me 30 mins to work my way to my flat door about 400 yards away. The band was Adam and the Ants, love them!
"Adam and the Ants" was an outstanding New Wave group. Do not base your opinions on just one song. Their second album, "Kings of the Wild Frontier" was great. My favorite song is "Feed Me to the Lions". Of course "Antmusic" is a fave. Stuart Leslie Goddard (Adam Ant) was a cultural icon in the 1980s.
Their 2nd album is also my favourite! So much good stuff on there! 🤩👍 The only song I've _never_ liked is 'The Magnificent Five', though 😅 But 'Feed Me To The Lions' is great indeed 😊 'Ants Invasion' and 'Killer In The Home' are my personal highlights 😀👍
Hahaha Amber's reaction is awesome! Adam Ant is not for everyone, but once you've passed his flamboyant persona, his lyrics are fantastic and he's got an amazing group with him.
Adam and the Ants were HUGE at the start of the 80's in the UK. "Ant Music", "Dog Eat Dog", "Prince Charming" and "Kings of the Wild Frontier" were massive hits here.
I'm disappointed you didn't like Marco, Merrick, Terry Lee, Gary Tibbs and yours truly more, but being younger you don't get how amazing this was at the time. There was nothing else like it. They were completely unique.
Jay shouldn't say, "I wish I was back with you all in the eighties," anymore. We'd listen to Adam Ant, then Bauhaus, then Bowie, then Berlin, then the B-52's, Blondie, the Cure, XTC, Depeche Mode... And that was on the way to school -- not at a club.
Let's give J points for being open to hearing more Adam Ant. If you watch the early episodes, he was quick to dismiss something that he didn't like. I just get entertained by Amber bouncing around, enjoying the playfulness of the song and J's face as he tries to digest what he's hearing 😂 The Ants' percussion at the time was unique and kind of fit into the World Music movement that was helping create unique performances. Amber will love Strip or Goody Two Shoes.
Aww, thanks for reacting to this. Amber, you had as much fun with this song as I always did, which is what it was meant for! So silly, but in a smart, irreverent way. One of the best 80s new wave bands-they made fun of everyone and themselves while creating actually good songs and just spreading joy.
Adam was a major sex symbol as a singer & actor. I saw them in SF / Goody Two Shoes tour. 80% female. Goody Two-Shoes is fun and "Wonderful" is one of his later songs that is a pure love song Amber will love.
You would be surprised how many fans dressed like Adam, his style became fashion for fans. Apollo 9, Prince charming, Goody two shoes, Puss in boots. All songs you should check out guys. 😎🎸👌
I LOOOOOVE Adam Ant! This is a quintessential 80’s video! I read his autobiography. Adam was meticulous in the music writing (with guitarist Marco Pirroni), video planning and style of dress. All of the banquet guests were friends and the jacket he’s wearing is from the actual “Charge of the Light Brigade” and was given to him by his stylist (the character who sentenced him to hang in the video). Adam also did his own stunt of jumping through the window cutting his head in the process while filming. In Adam’s videos, he loved the dramatics of making a mini film but there was somewhat of a lightness to the video characters he played. Try ‘Goody Two Shoes’, ‘Ant Music’, ‘Place in the Country’ or ‘Prince Charming’ for the more “fanciful” side of Adam Ant. Or try pre-video Adam, “Beat My Guest” or more serious Adam Ant song, “Wonderful”. Thanks for covering this!
This guy is very intelligent and knew when the time was right for him to get recognised in the British music industry. He was actually in a punk band in the early 70's but just couldn't get a break until he done Dog eat Dog, listen to Ant music if you like the drums. His videos were ground breaking in the 80's.
Adam & the Ants were a mix of punk & new romantic. They're all about fun and fashion and have a lot of typical British tongue-in-cheek humour in their songs and videos. If you've not realised the lead singer's stage name is Adam Ant (adamant) a fun play on words common in punk. Fun fact: The band's manager was Malcolm McClaren who also manged punk bands such as The Sex Pistols, New Dolls and Bow, Wow, Wow. His girlfriend famous fashion designer,Vivienne Westwood, came up with the band's look. They were huge in the early 80s winning several awards. Adam Ant's poster was ubiquitous on teenage girls bedroom walls and they had a number of big hits including: Prince Charming, Kings of the Wild Frontier, Puss in Boots, Ant Music, Goody Two-shoes, Strip & Dog Eat Dog.
Adam Ant is fantastic. Still touring today. “Goody Two Shoes” should be the next one you react to. It’s a little bit more mainstream and was a huge hit
One of the best songs EVER!!!! Also check out Antmusic, Prince Charming and Adam Ant's Goody Two Shoes. Basically he's making fun of people who think they are fashionable and they really aren't.
I really think that only British music fans who grew up listening to New Wave and New Romantic music can truly appreciate Adam and the Ants. I loved the theatricality of the videos that accompanied the songs of bands like Adam and the Ants, Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet, et al. Another time when men could dress their dandiest without judgement.
YES! Finally reacting to one of my favorite and unique 80's bands and one of my favorite songs by them. Adam and the Ants were part of Britain's early 80's New Romantic movement in Britain where both the bands and fans would dress up in period costumes much like we have Cos Play in America today. I feel bad Jay you did not like the song, but I understand because everyone has unique taste in music. Happy New Year Amber and Jay. 😊😊
I love that Amber really gets the humour in this, Adam and the Ants I believe were quite short lived but definitely a sound of the 80s. I think Jay just needs to understand that a Highwayman was a type of thief who stopped coaches on the road to steal from them. Very much a thing from the 17th and 18th centuries.
I just got tickets to see them in March in Albuquerque, that doesn't seem particularly short lived. I mean, I first heard them 42 years ago. I wonder if you maybe live in the US? A lot of British bands don't get much airplay here, so people think they are one album bands, when they are actually still thriving in Europe decades later.
Amber got this one right. Adam and The Ants started out as a Punk Rock band as Adam Ant, but their music developed, some tracks were societal, statements in the music, in this a Highwayman. I suggest these tracks: "Kings of The Wild Frontier", "Antmusic", "Lady", "Dog Eat Dog", "Young Parisians", "Prince Charming", "Zerox", "Beat My Guest", "Friends", "Deutscher Girls", "Friend or Foe", "Whip in My Valise". There are other tracks but these are good ones to continue with.
When this came out it was so unique it blew me away. Two drummers. Really creative and fun. Unlike anything on mainstream radio that was so homogenized. He brought some fun and infectious beats. And the girls LOVED him.
@@d2d2d28 - But "Rock Lobster" is a bad song. "Stand And Deliver" is better. The problem with Jay is he needs to hear this on a good stereo with subwoofers. The powerful production quality of Adam Ant's hits is amazing.
@@d2d2d28 - I think if a song is musically sound, then the quirkiness wouldn't matter. The audio on the video they watched was horrible and the instruments bled into one another. The song "Disco Duck" wasn't huge just because it was quirky. It was huge because it had a great track behind it.
Adam and the Ants were huge in the UK in the early 80s. Whenever the subject of 80s music comes up Adam Ant is always talked about. Fantastic band and fantastic tunes. Prince Charming, Goody Two Shoes, Strip, Ant Music, Kings of the WIld Frontier. Legendary
Adam Ant was the perfect popstar. The mix of burundi drumming and unique image made him massive in the early 80's and was a link from punk to the new romantics
I went to see him in concert with my best friend when I was in high school. It was a tiny venue as he wasn't that well known in the US yet. "Goody Two Shoes" had just hit the US charts. The concert was set up in the old basketball court at the local university. The the stage and crowd didn't even fill the half-court but we were all dancing and it was the most fun I have ever had at a concert! Thanks for the smiles today!
They were the New Romantics scene press including Steve Strange of Visage, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, A Flock of Seagulls, Classix Nouveaux and Boy George (of Culture Club). Ultravox were also often identified as New Romantics by the press, although they did not exhibit the same visual styles of the movement, despite their link to the band Visage. Japan and Adam and the Ants were also labelled as New Romantic artists Other aspiring bands of the era including ABC, Depeche Mode, The Human League, Soft Cell, Simple Minds, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark and Talk Talk
I was 10 in 1981(yes i know it came out the end of 1980) and this song is one i remember fondly. We went Adam and the ants crazy...Summer of 81 was a great one and i remember the builders were on our estate doing major repairs. They had stored batons for scaffolding around five feet high on the green that centered the estate and a couple of the older girls(maybe 12 or 13) were stood atop the pile with a Boom box almost up to their knees blasting this song and singing along with their 80's hair like lions manes...Happy days...
A throwback to my high school years. Adam and hi band are still touring to this day, although a very different line up. In the 90's I worked in a department store selling computers and electrical goods with my friend Tom, he'd go home and teach people guitar. He ended up as one of the main members of the current line up, Sadly he passed on tour with them in the States almost 7 years ago.
One of my favorite performers ever. Never got see him back in those days...but I finally got see him twice between 2017 and 2019. He's planning another US tour next year and I'll definitely be at one of the shows.
This was the first album I ever bought at 4 years old. I saw him the same night of the Ariana Grande bombing. Amazing show even though he stacked it and fell over the monitor at the start. Most would have not continued. The Diddly part is Quoi? As in french. Adam used a lot of French in his lyrics. Best tunes: Goody Two Shoes, Wonderful, Puss in Boots and Picasso visita el planeta de los simios (Picasso Visits The Planet Of The Apes).
This was a massive hit single in the UK back in 1981, back when I was 9 years old. The story of the Highwayman, Dick Turpin. Another song that was a massive hit the same year was Prince Charming, and I'm sure you can guess its theme. A year earlier, they had a hit called Ant Music.
Have been waiting a long time for you to review Adam and the Ants. They were absolutely huge in the early 80's. Well, for a couple of years anyway until they broke up and Adam (real name Stuart Goddard) went solo. As they called the Beatles era, 'Beatlemania', they called this bands era Antmainia, and the fans were called Ant people. I was an Ant person. They toured Australia in 1981, but, as I was only young, being 16, I didn't get to see them. Luckily, Adam toured Australia a few years ago or so ago, and I saw him then. I'm so glad. Loved this song. Also my other favourite was the song 'Dog Eat Dog'. Actually loved all their hits and Adam's solo hits. But 'Stand and Deliver' was my favourite. His wife made all the outfits. They had two drummers and two drum kits. Their most famous song and another number one hit here in Australia was their first huge hit,'Ant Music'.You need to listen to that as well. I was a member of their fan club.
1981. They were unlike anything else in the world in the way they looked, the sound and the 2 drummer thing. In a year where John Lennon's Imagin, Smokey Robinson's Being with You and Julio Iglesias and his crooning dominated UK charts, you have no idea how much this stood out. Adam was also a bit of an idol for teenage girls, I always think of them as the very last of the punk movement, one final middle fingered salute to mainstream music.
The Romantics opening up for Adam Ant in 1984. The crowd was so loud, screaming and singing along. I think the loudest audience I have ever heard. When he stripped down and dove into the tank of water the audience went nuts.
I saw them in Lubbock, TX, back in late '80s. He wore a white tshirt and blue jeans and no makeup. It was the best rocknroll concert I'd been at. Loved it!!!!
I'm on my way to see Adam and the Ants (with the English Beat), and can't wait. I've loved them since high school (the 80's) but never seen them. Another band that pushed the boundaries of music (and just about everything else) and their contributions are incorporated into our music today in ways we may not immediately recognize but are definitely there.
Amber knows how to embrace the weird and wonderful , Adam & the Ants were great during the 80's and Adam Ant went on to sing a few solo's too . Maybe Jay will come around once he's heard more , the song " Prince Charming " was abanger and it featured British Movie Legend Diana Dors who was a the UK's version of Marilyn Monroe . Adam's solo hit Goody Two Shoes was a banger too .
Yeah, Jay. This is a busy song. This was the beginning of the New Wave age, so Adam Ant had a sort of punk rock aesthetic. So the sound is heavy with percussion and if you listen the bass line is really driving. Check out Goody Two Shoes. Amber is spot on with her synopsis.
A truly amazing Punk band that bridged into New Romantics at the beginning of the 80's. They embraced the new type of music videos of the MTV era and were hugely popular with their upbeat pop, Antmusic was the biggest (and best) hit and as a teenage boy "puss in boots" was my favorite video !!!!!
My crush on Adam Ant was one of the biggest I ever had, being 14 in 1981. My older brother played the album " kings of the wild frontier" for me and I was hooked. Still have very fond memories of that time..the 80's is still my fave dacade.
I remember being enthralled as a teenager with Adam Ant & the Ants and the videos they put out for: Strip, Puss n Boots, and others. The sound, the look, the vibe... it was all awesome!
Adam & the Ants were my first band that I got into as a teen in 1980/81 and were absolutely massive. The double drum Burandai Beat was so exciting at the time and not been heard(by me) before. Other great tracks were Dog Eat Dog, Antmusic,Kings of the Wild Frontier, Young Parisians,Prince Charming & Ant Rap. Adam went solo in 1982 and his first solo offering 'Goody Two Shoes' was a chart topper. He had a troubled life in later years but a brilliant track from his later years was a track called 'Wonderful'.
I was such a HUGE fan of Adam and the Ants back in the 80s. I dressed up as Adam Ant for Halloween in 1985. They have a few more in their library that I think you'd enjoy more. Ant Rap, Prince Charming, and Ant Music are just a few. They have two drummers which gives them a very distinct sound. Their music is basically about standing up to the 'Powers-That-Be' that try to dictate how you should be and doing tour own thing.
To love Adam & The Ants it takes a person to fully entertain the artistic and uniqueness of the sound & style being presented. Adam & The Ants came out of the early British punk scene and their early music was heavier & darker. The first real album they released was called DIRK WEARS WHITE SOX and the sound was heavier/darker punk sounding with songs like - "Car Trouble", Never Trust a Man with Egg on His Face" and "Cleopatra". As punk was dying off Adam & The Ants sound began to change a bit with the early 80's sound. It became more rhythmic and he started using two drummers to give the music real heft & pulsating sounds. They released two albums a year apart - KINGS OF THE WILD FRONTIER ('80) and PRINCE CHARMING ('81). Both were successful in Britain but failed to top the charts in America, even though MTV began playing his videos (like this one) which people began checking out. Clearly a style many were unsure of but Britain has always been a bit more accepting of diverse music. KINGS OF THE WILD FRONTIER provided us with - "Dog Eat Dog", Ant Music". PRINCE CHARMING produced great songs - "Stand & Deliver", "That Voodoo" and "Ant Rap". But Adam left the Ants and went solo with Marco Pirroni on guitar and released his first solo called FRIEND OR FOE. This resulted in a more pop driven, yet unique sounding album with Adam clearly becoming more of a sex symbol and resulting in heavy MTV airplay, which made him a huge phenomenon with the second British Invasion along with Duran Duran, Culture Club, Billy Idol and so many others. The album FRIEND OR FOE produced the hit single - "Goody Two Shoes". Songs like - "Desperate, but Not Serious" and a remake of the Doors, "Hello, I Love You" made the album lighter, more pop driven and more palatable to the American audience. His solo work continued on and I recommend checking out songs like - "Vive Le Rock", "Wonderful", "Strip", "Room At the Top". Keep going down this rabbit hole. It gets really good and very interesting.
This was a VERY 80’s type group. Very dramatic and over the top, very unique and very FUN! We loved them because they were so different and unusual. The big hits for Adam Ant in the US were Goody Two Shoes and Strip but I loved a lot of his stuff with the Ants. Another good one with them was Kings of the Wild Frontier. Great drums in it. Brings back some great memories.
Adam and The Ants, Bow Wow Wow, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Devo, and several others just had this amazing post pop punk vibe that I loved as many others did also.
Adam and the Ants were a seminal post-punk group in the UK and made a series of increasingly high-budget and very striking videos, like "Prince Charming" and "Goody Two Shoes". Great production values and one of the most popular uses of the 'Burundi beat' with two drummers
Adam Ant was an early 80s version of Jack Sparrow , pirates of the Caribbean , It was all camp fun and over the top English innuendo , for a few years they were box office , part of the " New Wave " of electronic pop , dance , rock , cross over .
For several years in the 80s, British kids drove their teachers/parents mad screaming this at every opportunity while wearing their ties over their eyes
I feel like this song didn't get enough love when it came out and still doesn't get much play on 80s radio, but it's one of my favorites. Sugar Ray did a cover of it in the 90's
I love Adam Ant! I saw him in concert back in the early 80s. What a great song. Everyone has filled you in on what it's about. There were several highway men in England in the 1700s that used the phrase. They were notorious. But I understand that this is a cultural thing. Our highway men in the wild West didn't use that saying (think stick em up)but it really meant trouble in England.
It’s about highway men in the Middle Ages. They used to rob the stage coaches that were travelling. They used to yell ‘stand and deliver’ meaning stop and give me your money. A very English thing
Adam & The Ants was the absolute $hit in the early 80's...no question about it. He for sure had a moment bitd. He was pretty huge in the early 80's. He was my first musical hero when I was a kid. He was very theatrical...that was a big part of his overall image. Im actually going to see him in concert in April (im in new orleans). If you want to get more poppy react to "Goody Two Shoes" or "Deperate But Not Serious".
This was like watching my Mom's reaction when I bought my first Adam and the Ants record home - but even she appreciated the double drums 😂 Definitely started on the wrong track (maybe Kings of the Wild Frontier or Ant Music), but Jay often struggles with tracks that don't fit into a genre so not sure he'll ever 'get' them. But they were mindblowing post-punk back in 1980/81 in the UK though!
🎉 I loved Adam and the Ants back in the day. My room was covered in their posters. The earlier music was great and their videos were often epic, such as Prince Charming which also featured the wonderful Diana Dors. Definitely worth checking out more of their music. 🎶
Adam and the Ants are the greatest. My first musical love. How can you just sit there unmoving while Stand and Deliver is playing? Jay, it's kind of tough to tell you the big mistake you're making. 🙂
@@roncarnes5724 Jay's musically inept. Other reactors I see do research on the band and then do the reaction. Jay has bass guitars. Are they for show or does he play. Go up to the top and read my comment. If Amber wasn't on this channel. This channel would have failed in the first 6 months.
