There was nothing like it! to this very day them shouts were fire. that was McCollough timing back then. Dad shouted right along with us. You had to be there.
Now that’s a real shout! Greatest HOP band of all time. You couldn’t be a scrub and play with the Mccollough Tigers. You had to go hard. They were not easy to join. Just to think this was after they had already declined. This band started under Daddy Grace and were originally called the Baby Band which was led by Apostle Patton from Charlotte. They used to call Apostle Patton silver lips because he could play really high notes all night long. His son Greg took over as the leader when he got older and was incredible also. Later Daddy Mccollough renamed them the Tigers and they were his favorite band. He would call on them 90% of the time to play the shout while he would finish up preaching and would dance around the mountain while they played. Sometimes he would come back to the mic while they were playing the shout and preach some more as they continued and the whole house would go up in smoke. You would here this on plenty of old tapes. Those were some times. Many of you just don’t know how good this band really was. You all who are too young to know should here tapes of the 1975 - 1985 Tigers. They were out of this world. Go ask the other folks if they got tapes from the mid 1970s thru the early 80s and re-record them and save them to digital before they get lost. You’re never gonna hear anything like them again. No band today even comes close. These modern bands play lazy, sloppy and slow. The talent in the HOP has increased exponentially but they play undisciplined and without structure.
It was like this LA last year's convocation the first night everyone was shouting, u could feel the floor bouncing. The spirit was high and all of young people was moving and crying of joy! I thank god I was raised in the UHOP!
Oh my Lord! I remember days like this in the Bronx Mission or at Mother House when that Spirit was everywhere. During the McCoullough days, everybody went off. Even the Ushers helping shouters would catch the Holy Ghost. Needing the sheets for the people falling out on the floor! Those times were so great. They tore the roof off when Daddy McCoullough came thru. Great times and memories!
then when all the preachers used to shout he was not worried about your money . McCullough was about saving Souls now that was giving God your all. not Daddy's Club daddy McCullough said one time you can't buy your way into heaven Heaven is not for sale.amen

I do believe that if anyone left the UHOP and moved on then they are definitely better off ...... They can truly now worship JESUS " OUR SAVIOR " for who he really is and what he really means to them.

Some of you need to read your Bibles. It was the spirit of God in Walter McCollough that made him Daddy McCollough. The same spirit is here but its in a new body that can house it that body is CM Bailey (Daddy Bailey). The spirit goes higher and higher you cant understand it uless you're spiritual. The HOP is for ANYONE, not EVERYONE!! LORD forbid but when that world out there keeps killing our sons and daughters, you'll wish that they were in some place of worship. It's definitely vintage footage of a UHOP band, but I'm not convinced its the Tigers. Where's the white fiberglass sousaphone tuba, full drum set, and smooth unified tone? Their tone never broke ranks. And I don't ever remember them ever doing "Chesterfields" routines. They were well disciplined musicians. I remember the Tigers.
What band is it. The tigers always started like that from what i remember. My cousin got recorded cassette tapes to this day. From tigers, Portsmouth, and thunderbirds.

It's never a building or a soul. From my experience, the power felt in The House of Prayer is unparalleled to anything I have ever known; this power has to be from God!
Ok I was speaking by the spirt of the truth. You have look at the word from a spirt like eye and hears for the gospel of Jesus Christ God only be gotten son.
