In 1992 and 2002 we had two presidential candidates from Central Kenya. In 1992 we had the late preident Kibaki and the late Hon Matiba and in 2002 we had the late president Kibaki and the former president Uhuru. Just for corrections.

Yeah actually we were more divided in 2002 and 1992 than 2022. As much as I don't like the division. My unpopular opinion is that Kibaki was a key spoiler in 1992, because he only resigned from KANU on Christmas day 1991, less than two weeks after Moi repealed single party rule. Just like that, unpopular Moi got another 2 terms. I still think that they should have all united, so the blame isn't all on Kibaki. They could have planned it like ANC in SA, and given all the top guys one 5-year term each.
