Hope you were aware about monthly mortgage payments before applying for a Mortgage. Also you could increase your deposit and reduce mortgage amount to make your monthly payments to a comfortable level. Or you could wait for building up a reasonable savings. Many people talking about 1% deposit now a days. I always recommend for maximum deposit and remaining amount as mortgage. So we need to focus on savings before buying a house.
