Other than STEM subjects, healthcare, and IT, it is really difficult to get professional jobs. There are a lot of part-time jobs but the cost of living; rent, electricity etc has increased a lot in the past 2 years. You will have no trouble paying back the loan but you will waste 3 years (degree+stay back) without any meaningful experience to put in your CV. If you are under 23 years, you can afford to lose these years but you you are any older this is going to be challenging unless you have a couple of years of experience in the areas which I mentioned in the beginning. Suppose you came to Uk at 24 years and you return back at 27 years, there is a lot of pressure on you regarding jobs, marriage etc. I am speaking from my experience. I came to Uk in 2007 for MBA and luckily manage to find a job during the last 6 months of my stay back. I had 3 years of pharma experience from India when I came to the UK and it helped me find a job at a University but never not an MBA job. Even the class toper did not get the job. There were 40 MBA students in my class and 37 of them went back after 2-year stay back and the three others including myself has healthcare/research experience.
Thanks for tour valuable experience. Partially agreed on what you said but I know people who got job and sponsorship after business management courses. So mainly it is experience, skills and also the luck factor.
@@SmafTalks regarding business sponsorship , they are mainly consultuncies that do it like Earnst and Yong, Price Water Coopers etc which you can apply after your degree for internships/jobs. The starting salary that they offer is more thar 45-70K pounnds /year. They are incredibly competetive and the best of UK comes for that and involved 4-5 rounds of interviews. One of my friend got it and he has just finished a PhD from Cambridge University. The crayzy thing is that his Degree is in Chemistry and not in management, basically meaning everybody can apply. 10 years ago in 2008, just after the financial crisis , I started appling for research/ pharma related jobs and management jobs. Somebody knowledgable told me that 15-25 people chase every jobs advertiased in biotec/pharma and 5 of them make it to interview. But with business the number of people appling is more than 100. This number can go upto 300 or more in a recession based on an news article I read back then. This is another reason why people advise to stay away from business course. My intention is to give information based on my experience years ago lot of things has changed since then for good or for bad. I dont want to be very negative but if you are ready to put in hardwork, have relevant experience and luck you can get it.

@@SmafTalks Mister and Mrs., exactly! Shajan has lived in UK much longer than you and has connections and knows what is happening there much better than you. His family is well settled there unlike those average students who go there with hefty loans hoping to recoup that money and make a good career. Which is not going to happen. Those who can afford and want to go elsewhere with the degree, are still fine. Those who pledge their 5 cent land to the bank have a good chance to lose everything. That is what shajan is saying.
@@SmafTalks My location has no bearing in what I am saying. I did research for my niece who wanted to go in UK for studies. I would trust Shajan who is more social committed than self proclaimed experts like you who misguide poor folks. I advised my niece not to go to UK.
Can you please mention anywhere in our video that pledge your land and take education loan. Even we don’t promote students coming in the UK without proper plans or not studying and doing just any jobs.
