He should sue. It's a democracy everyone has different political views. And it's breaking licence agreements banks can't refuse you for political views. It's iligal. Licence agreements banks can close any account if they have no money in it for a surtain period. The banks can temporarily suspend your account if they suspect fraud and is under investigation. Banks can temporarily suspend someone account to protect the account on request of the account holder. Only the courts can order suspension of someone account if they have been found guilty of iligal activity sanctions or terrorist activity. Banks can't refuse you service because of your political views. It's iligal. Nigel should challenge them in court. And ask for compensation for emotional stress. He will win. The banks will be forced to compensate him aswell made to allow Nigel to have an account. The only way to pay back these woke organisation is to hit them where it hurts their pocket and a court order

The CEO of Coutts evidently discussed Fargage bank account details with the BBC Financial "reporter" at a dinner.

Because of his political views...All this kicked off after he won an award for the best the best news presenter...He was booed when he went up for his award. Farage was singled out and targetted and the bank lied about the reasons why they were closing his account. There is already precedent for Farage to take legal action against them for direct discrimination, and he is also likely to report them to the ICO which will result in a massive fine because they gave his confidential financial information to the BBC and potentially another media organisation too. He is likely to have a very good legal case against Coutts and the BBC and could be awarded a six-figure sum in damages.

They offered a personal bank account but not a business account, which is equally essential to separate private and business transactions. You miss the point, he is not the only one that this is happening to and it has to stop. A vicor had his account closed when asked for comments on how the bank performed. His crime was that he objected to having the LGBT highlighted on every door and wall. He did not see it as appropriate. In Canada, striking lorry drivers had their bank accounts closed to force them to break the strike. There is a point that action must be taken or we will end up like Russia or China. The issue needs to be highlighted to force our government to legislate for freedom of speech.
