You jinxed that cast with the crab Wayne! You’d be amazed how often I crack off twice in a row, because I’m so anxious to get a bait back out that I make mistakes in my haste! I need to learn to chill out sometimes! Thoroughly enjoyed joining you on this session. A fish is a fish and anything is a success nowadays in my book. You’ll soon be over the 10k mark with subs and maybe even making enough £ for those peeler crabs! Keep up the great work buddy. Catch you Wednesday 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Like you, I change my snoods/traces every time after a trip. If one doesn't, it could cost a fish of a lifetime. Great video Wayne as always.

Evening Wayne spent the last few weekends out as I've had a bit of time dug worms on my local beach on that massive tide. And went out onbthe spit had a couple congers 3lbs bootlace. Left it till this weekend and went out Friday had a hound and Sunday 2 bootlace congers not brilliant really. But had fish all the same . 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🎣

Hi mate, Do you have a vid showing how you tie your knots slowly. Your hands move so quick I could not see it properly. If you don’t have a vid would mind making a short one please when you get the time. As always great content and i must admit I do change my hooks regularly because the points can blunt very easily over the rough grounds where i fish especially when getting snagged up. Keep up the good work All the best Nigel

@nigelfelstead1277 Год назад
Hi mate, I am sure it rains quite a lot on the Bristol Channel so I should only have to wait a couple of days. 😂😂 On serious note that would be great I am sure many other people would be interested in how to tie that knot also. Thank you in advance again.

You got bit off with that big eel Wayne 🤔wouldn’t it be better to fish a wire trace when there’s a chance of a big conger? Can you use lighter breaking strain wire 🤔. than 100lb mono as wire is more abrasion resistant even if it brakes at say 70lb If that makes sense 🤔 Do big conger bite through line or wear through it?
@TheShoreHunter
@TheShoreHunter Год назад
Hi mate, I was using 90lb hook lengths, I wasn't really fishing for big ones but if I was, I would be on Chesil and using wire
@shaunjones6049
@shaunjones6049 Год назад
What wire and strain would you recommend Wayne 👍
@kf8575

No point (pardon the pun lol) using hooks twice. Not for the price of them. Go out spend loads on rods, reels, and all the other gear that goes with it, ie shelters, tackle boxes, flot suits.... to then scrimp on packets of hooks for £4-5 each is simple madness when youll never get them back to being as sharp as fresh from the packet. Well, in my opinion anyway 👍
