UK Election 2024: Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer Battle for 10 Downing Street | Firstpost America
Amidst economic challenges and a fraying social fabric, British voters are set to choose a new government. The Conservative Party, led by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, faces judgment from a weary electorate, while the Labour Party, under the leadership of Keir Starmer, is cautioned against complacency and risk of apathetic supporters. Polling stations will close at 10 pm and an exit poll will provide projected seat numbers for the top five parties. At least 650 seats will be up for grabs, with the winning party expected to hit 326 seats. The final election results will be announced on July 5.
