AR15's in the UK are legal to own but have to be straight pull in some form or another. Semi automatics can only be in .22 long rifle or .22 Winchester Magnum Round. There are no restriction on mag capacity.

I don’t get why they don’t send straight pull uppers chambered in 300BLK or 9mm here to the US, I’d imagine they’d sound great suppressed with subsonic ammo and it’s likely less expensive than buying a whole new gun when you can put it on an AR lower you already have. I think a 9mm bolt action upper would be interesting because we don’t have any non-semiautomatic rifles chambered in it, it would be appealing for a suppressed plinking caliber since subsonic 9mm can be found for under $0.30 when ordered in bulk online (around £0.24). If they’re compatible with lowers that use Colt SMG or Glock magazines I’m sure there’d be a small market for them here.

which comes from article 7 of the ENGLISH BILL OF RIGHTS 1688 which is still the CONSITUTIONAL law of the UK ! do you understand now ??

I didn’t realize it was a straight pull when you first shot that big t handle one at the beginning of the vid. You took that first shot and I jumped. I thought that big handle was gonna whack you in the face. lol!!! Awesome video 👍🏽

Hi mate. Great video. However I disagree regarding your comments about FAC rated shotguns and club memberships. No club membership is required in the UK. I had an FAC rated SA chambered in 3 1/2 magnum for pest control (8+1). In actual fact the visiting FLO was the one who recommended it.....all the best, Steve

Personally I don't like how UK firearms law wierdly modifies normal firearms. Therefore I'd get the AR15 in semi auto .22 cal and rather get a bolt action rifle (even a 30 30 lever action!) than an odd bolt pull centre fire AR15. For same reason I would avoid the coat hanger pistols. Fire with authentic weapons and if one cannot, and one feels the urge, then go to an overaeas range for full auto fun! Anyway interesting to watch the video, cheers.

Agree on the coathangers. They look absolutely ridiculous. I will stick to rifles and shotguns on my FAC till the day (if it ever comes) we get our pistols back (at least in .22). If only we got the 60cm overall length requirement removed that would be enough IMHO, I don’t mind a long BARREL (30cm) but the coat hanger completely ruins the look.

Funny thing is 22lr AR is now prohibited here in Canada under the 2020 ban. moderators are also a prohibited device here. Two things the UK has that Canada does not (Well whoever had ar15s prior to the ban still has them in their safe because they haven't figured out how to round them up)

We can’t have semi auto or full auto,3/5 round mag limit same with shotguns air guns are limited to a paltry 12ftlb

Not quite. Semi auto shotguns and semi auto .22 LR rifles are legal in the uk. There are no restrictions on magazine capacity. There is a maximum capacity of 3 shells for shotguns held on a shotgun certificate, but not shotguns held on a FAC. Airguns above 12ftlb are allowed on FAC.
