A UK Nuclear Weapons' Convoy coming down the A817 onto the A814, just up from HMNB Clyde, en route to RNAD Coulport at the other side of the Rosneath Peninsula, in Argyll & Bute, Scotland - with material brought from AWE Burghfield, Berkshire, England - on the afternoon of 17th May, 2023. This Convoy was very spread out - and was unusually preceeded by a marked RAF breakdown vehicle in operation (not shown on the video). This was later confirmed to be carrying an unmarked police vehicle. The Convoy is usually preceeded by a police vehicle, not a breakdown truck. The two breakdown trucks usually come down together with the 2 relief crew coasches at the very end (often after police have opened the roundabout again to other traffic; and they have moved on In this instance they were also spread out, and the second breakdown truck came along some time afterwards).
