Given the Scharber to DH preference, the fact that Bryce will be entrenched at 1st base at least for the remainder of this year (and poss the future as well), and most important replacing Rhys RH power hitting, the player I hope they land who is under contract for 2 years is Lane Thomas bc he can play all outfield positions and more important provides pop from the right side!!! So if we can land him without having to give up Painter/Abel/Crawford which solves both for this year and given he is signed through 2025 will also solve the expiring Rhys contract this offseason... Perhaps McGrary + Rohas I would do! This is assuming Bryce permanent at 1st however ...
