Tyler Childers - All Your'n - Country music reaction video. RU-vid blocked the full version of this video with my reaction. I've had to switch out the original music video with a live performance version and cut out all of my commentary in reference to the music video. I hope it isn't cut up too much. This is cleverly written song lyrically. And the way the lyrics and vocals fit with the arrangement is just genius in my opinion

A lot of this song is about him being a traveling musician but always thinking about his wife. Two other songs on the album touch on the same sort of longing for his Lady May as a working man who is on the road all of the time; "Country Squire" and "Ever Lovin Hand".

Let’s not ‘beat’ around the bush here. Yes, Ever Lovin Hand is about him longing for Senora while on the road but you can’t just leave it at that. It’s about one of man’s favorite past times; a little chocking the chicken, beating the bishop, cuffing the carrot, charming the cobra, Ruffin up the suspect, polishing the banister.... Masturbation. 🍆 The opening line for Ever Lovin Hand one of my favorites . “They‘ve got my favorite lotion here. Something in a hotel I admire.” 😂😂

@@weekendwarrior4271 I would argue that it can be interpreted both ways. That’s the Beauty of a good song /song writer, Their music can often be interpreted several different ways. How the listener interprets it many times is based off their state of mind and circumstances at the time of hearing it. When I first heard this song, long before it was recorded on an album, I was in a long distance relationship and I looked at it as being a love song for people who are often apart. I’ve now seen the psychedelic side. Don’t limit yourself to songs only having one meaning. If you open up to all possibilities, you can find new meaning in songs you’ve listened to for years. Music and lyrics are an infinite progression for the musician and the listener.

Musicians often get a certain cut off the cover charge to get in a venue and that’s called a door deal. Road dog is someone who’s on the road all the time, road dog door deal dreams is him saying that was all he wanted to do with his life, until he met his wife. So meeting her made him change what he wanted to do with his life.

Tyler and Ian Noe and Chris Stapleton are the BOMB. Love them. Female favorites: Jaime Wyatt, Sierra Ferrell, Bella White, Margo Price, Brandi Carlile, Lee Ann Womack (her later works--from 2005 onward), Rosanne Cash, Tanya Tucker. My current favorite is Jaime Wyatt.

It's a pretty good album but it is different. some of it seems like a good way to take Tyler off the back porch playlist and get him into the honky tonk or wedding playlist which is big money in the business.

If you listen to his music in order of release you can tell when he met sturgill and started playing with him. SS produced this album. There’s not a bad song on here but my favorite is Peace Of Mind. Cheers!

Morels are mushrooms like you said and hunting for morels is a bit of an old-time family tradition in Appalachia where he grew up. They grow in the mountains of West Virginia and other areas close to where he lived. You should react to Charleston Girl by tyler next week 👍🏻

I took the verse around "road dog, door deal dreams" having to do with his newfound faith causing him to settle down because I take " breaking down my road dog, door deal dreams" as meaning he used to dream of a traveling/bar hopping lifestyle but that has been broke down(in a positive way) by his faith. I know your asking for female artists but the Hill Country Devil just had a new song drop on GemsOnVHS today and I really enjoyed it.

Probably too mainstream but Kacey Musgraves probably the best of what's current, Lucinda Williams and Emmilou Harris both excellent but older. I'm sure there is an independent female artist that's closer to Tyler and Colter big and off the mainstream but I don't know them.

Always found this his weakest song on the album but still decent. One for future but I feel you should definitely experience some Wheeler Walker Jr. Hes very country but also not very of rated. Hes good mates with Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson.
