Just subbed up from central indiana, don't judge me, I'm helping my mother take care of her husband my father because he has dementia......that was unnecessary. What beautiful rigs and I'm only 14 seconds in. Looking forward to more content.
I'm not sure I'd have the 'spheres' to drive off the slide on top of that tank....😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫 some of those trucks sounded like they took some pretty hard hits.
🤣 Yeah there were quite a few falling off the ramp! Not as bad a fall as the hills though, they were brutal. 😬 I did the King of the Hill with my TRX6 and seeing it rolling down the hill was a bit of a butt clench moment! 🤣😬
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it. 👍 The tanks were awesome. I didn't manage to get much footage of them, but I put together another short vid on my channel of them. 👍 Thanks very much for watching and commenting. 👍😎
Greetings from Ventura Ca. I just went to Proline By The Fire RC event & I’m so at home amount all the Custom RC’s. The courses are unbelievable. And the man made features built into the rocks are so fun. We all had one thing in common no matter what. Out on the course I was making that rubbing the body sound during articulation & a gentleman Crawling with a Mini didn’t even look up & said I love that sound sounds like a real vehicle & kept a close eye on his Crawler the whole time. So cool the vibe ya know. I was just out on this vast course with natural rock sandstone & boulders all over I was just in my own little world as was the other RC enthusiasts & I could hear grown men saying things that where just to funny. We where like little kids free of worries. Super well shot video that’s not easy thank you for sharing with other RC Lover’s.
Thanks very much mate, really appreciate it. 👍 Sounds like you had a fantastic time. That's one I the things I love about crawling and RC'S, generally everyone is so friendly and appreciative of other people's rigs. Makes for an awesome atmosphere. 👍😎
Thanks very much mate, it was really good. Lots of nice people and great rigs. 👍 Yeah that tow truck was awesome wasn't it, it belongs to muddynutsrc on Instagram. 👍
Great video my friend, the variety of rigs and attention to scale on them is awesome. 1 of my favourite Crawler events of the yr, Definitely 1 to keep in the Calendar!
Thanks very much, it was a great event with so many great rigs. 👍😎 Yeah seeing them tumble down the hills and fall off the ramps were definitely cringe worthy moments! 🤣👍
Yeah there was a nice selection of different rigs. Quite a few awesome custom builds I didn't manage to video too. 👍 Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍😎
@ red traxxes defender, seal them tyre vents man , it will make a world of a differance , and save you money on foams . trust me please i have the same rig in landrover blue same tyres and i seald them and she runs fantastic . looking good there tho , nice one .
Thanks very much mate, appreciate the advice. That's my Defender, I think the foams are already done though, as been like that almost a year. Planning on new wheels and tyres anyway, I was just enjoying the squish! 🤣👍
To your comment yes I have several RC Rock Crawlers I have drift trucks I have semis that pull trailers I love them it's a blast to play around with them I'm 69 years old it's a lot of fun
Everyone is different. If you're running them vented, you want to avoid water really as it ruins the foams. You can try squeezing them out, but may not get it all out. 👍
Awesome video man, did you go to the hulk nationals on 1st and 2nd I think me and my mate was talking to you I had the green toyota fj40 and my mate had the big wide red toyota hilux 👋🏽😅 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
Thanks very much mate. 👍 Yeah I was there on the Sunday and remember chatting to both of you. Was great to meet you both and thanks for letting me film your rigs towards the end of the day. I was the guy with the red TRX4 doing the 100 gate course in the morning at the same time as you. 👍
Not yet, they should update the website closer to the time and also mention it on the Facebook group. Hopefully they'll have a mini 1 day event around April again, then the 2 day event in summer. 👍
So many cool rigs, the tow truck with trailer that flatbed with the skid loader and knuckle boom where amazing....the course looked like so much fun, wish I was there....very fun just watching the video!!!👍👍
Yeah there were so many awesome rigs. I didn't manage to fill them all. The Ford recovery truck was definitely my favourite. It belongs to muddynutsrc on Instagram if you want to see more of it. 👍
Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the sub. 👍 If you're talking about the Sport, I have the same wheels on my Gen8 v2 but in gold. You can get them on Aliexpress and Amazon. 👍
@nickalderson4563 Excellent, if you check out the Southern Scale Trail Facebook group or their website, you can find out when the next one is. Hopefully they'll have a 1 day event in Spring and then the full two day event in Summer. 👍 Lots of awesome scale rigs there, so I'm sure your Cross RC will fit right in. 👍
@DoURC looks lovely! Reminds me of the chalkpits that were used in the James Bond film, A View to Kill over in Amberley. I used to live near there, I remember taking my Mudblaster there when I was a kid with my parents.. Crikey, I'm old haha
I've got enough hobbies without adding RC to the list, but happy to enjoy it vicariously through these videos (for now!). Particularly impressed with the weathering on the recovery truck and engine noises on the Mack.
🤣 It's a great hobby, but very easy to go down the rabbit hole. Yeah the Ford recovery truck was awesome. There's always lots of cool rigs at events. 👍
