NATO and the EU have nothing to do with the war in Ukraine! But they are justifiably worried about Russias aggression in its neighbours lands. Don’t forget Russia had a non aggression pact with Ukraine when they gave up their nuclear weapons. Russia then took Crimea, sending in the “little green men” as they were called.

@@lucky-je1kf That is incorrect. The war was started when Russian troops invaded Ukraine. Western leaders were obviously terrified of this invasion so close to their borders. I don't think that you are getting all the facts. Finland and Sweden were also afraid, that's why they joined NATO. All the Baltic's that joined have just had their actions justified by what Russia is doing.

Ukraine is like the pretty girl that used to date Russai. They break-up and now the pretty girl wants to be with an American and have UK friends. One difference is since 62 Russia has honoured the Monroe Doctrine, where as the US/EU/NATO have not done the same for Minsk. 50% of Ukraine is Russian speaking and prefers to be tied with Moscow than Kiev. Obama put US troops on the ground in Ukraine to support Kiev attack those eastern Ukrainian forces. This war is absolutely about EU expansionism, and that's exactly why Moldova has resisted joining the EU/NATO despite the EU pushing for it for 30 years. Unlike Zelenskyy, Moldova's successive Governments weren't stupid.
