Thank you for this video. Very informative. I would love to ask please. Does the priority service not take 5 days? I’m wondering why yours took longer and it’s priority. Thanks in advance for your response.
@@confiscorner5555 you are welcome , thank you for watching my video . The priority service takes 30 working days , the one you are talking about is the super Priority
Thanks for the video, Can you please share how long it took to get your BRP/visa? What date did you apply, what date was your biometrics appointment and what date did you get accepted for the visa? Trying to understand the processing times.
@@Funke224 Hello ma’am... how are you doing? You said you paid priority service? But I and my husband want to pay for it, they told use they don’t accept that on spouse visa... we went to TLC in Ikeja on February 2021... so how comes? Am confused here please
@@julietking4404 you know the rules are always constantly changing , I believe priority is currently unavailable due to the pandemic, because of the travel restrictions in UK 🇬🇧
@@julietking4404 I was also told the same when I went early September… but mine was already paid for online… how long did it take before getting your visa??
Interesting listen to your advices, can you please help me out with spouse application as my wife got one dependent child but I don't know why after putting all information about the child,I can't see her name appearing for mandatory documents (passport) or IHS surcharge fee will not include her name. Thanks
Hi dear, I’m planning on travelling with my husband, where i will stay has been catered for by my employer , but my husband will have to pay for his everything, since he’s a dependent, which address will he use for the sponsor address
Hi dear did they ask you how many rooms are there in the property and what are the names of the people living there, their ages and etc... My friend is living in a double room in a sharing property and he is applying for his wife spouse visa. He asked is estate agent if he can provide the details of the other people living in the property but the agent refused and said it's confidential. Could you please guide how he can skip this question ? Thanks
Crazy how the estate agent is being difficult , I’m sorry I won’t be able to give an answer right now . Because my husband was living alone and he owned the flat he didn’t have to do all of that . I could get back to you soon if I do some research, is that okay ?
Hi dear , I have spoken with a friend of mine and this step cannot be skipped . Except if he moves into a non sharing apartment. Could be a large studio apartment if they don’t have kids . Or He could go directly to the neighbors and explain situation to them as he will also need their passport numbers . I hope this helps
My wife came from India 2 an half years ago I already have indefinite leave to remain I checked her old visa form thats showing settlement route that’s why I confused between family route and settlement what I put online family route or settlement for her first extensions
Hi funke! I just get married 2 weeks ago in registry office here in UK. My visa is fiance and we want to apply for spouse visa inside the UK, what online application form we need to fill. Thanks for an answer.
Either of you can apply but my husband who is the British Citizen applied and I believe that made it easier because sometimes doing admin in Nigeria can be quite daunting .
Hy ma’am please I’m looking to join my husband in uk, the problem is I’ve done change of name in my bank account , I hve an old passport which has my old name and is expiring in 2024... I wanted to do a new passport bearing my husband name, applied since January but no passport till now.. we can’t wait any further , is it okay to use my old passport please
@@feruketemitayo5622 hy, I actually got my new passport and proceeded to do my ielts and tuberculosis test....submitted all the necessary documents in ukvisa office and I’m currently in uk now, been here since November 🤗
Hi Caroline per year IHS is £624 and since the spouse visa is for 2.5 years you have to pay for each year which amounts to £1560 . I do not give information without research and that’s why I tell people to research well . Please click on this link www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigration-application/how-much-pay to further confirm
Hi Funke, I will like inquire about the financial requirements. My spouse is currently in the UK and is on an hourly pay. Some part of that form is confusing. I’ll be glad if can do a walkthrough for that. Is the gross annual pay the gross pay within 6months of employment or as stated on page 19 of appendix 1.7 FM?i.e: 6 months pay/6 x 12
Hi Oscar , from your question I deduced that your spouse financial requirement can be met through category A non salaried employment . Now , your spouse has to calculate the gross earnings from employment held throughout the 6 months before the application i.e same earnings weekly in the last 6 months , add all together divided by 6 x 12 . Please let me know if this was helpful .
@@Funke224 yes it is helpful but hasn’t sufficiently addressed my inquiry. On the online application form, what do I state as the gross annual pay? Is it the total sum of the 6months pay or the result of the calculation you stated?
@@Funke224 Hi... please do help me with one more thing. I was married December 2014 in church and traditionally but did my court marriage in August 2017.
