Fair play Graeme always keeping it realistic showing the blanks we all suffer way too often. Fish or no fish you never disappoint or fail to entertain. Take care and thanks.
That is one of the great things this channel is much better than most fishing channels on RU-vid, ton of tips for every fishing lover and no obnoxious gimmicky advertising and no shitxy music 🙏🙏
I am a bass lure fisherman from county Waterford Ireland and blank a lot at this time of the year, your RU-vid videos are simply awesome, real fishing right there. I don't watch the telly now in the evenings just TA fishing....... Subscribed and liked.
For centuries people have tried to describe fishing with pen and paper. But some smart, fun and most creative people like you, have turned it into reality and made it really interesting.
Great video Graham. Looks, like, you were in the best spot away from all the chavs. Shame no fish but eh out in the fresh air. Beats going shopping with the misses 😂
Don't worry, the older I get the more I hate the cold...I've done all the winter survival fishing trips when I was younger...I try to pick the weather slots now.
Why do people or rather some fishermen want to be close to each other that’s only asking for trouble on the beach. Nice cook up on the boat and lovely catch after eating nice. Love watching boats being lifted out the water, I could watch it all day till the next one take care
Those stones look hard work to walk on Graeme. Good cardio workout I should imagine. I love fresh mackerel. It is really healthy too. Looks like you got some for the freezer in the end. Cheers. Roger
Hi Graeme, I am new to fishing so lots, I mean EVERYTHING to learn. I have been very poorly for few months and nearly didn't get through it (not covid) so now, or soon! I will be strong enough to get to the local beach and get some fresh air. I've bought some second hand gear and will add to it as I go. Thanks for the tips and all going well I will be catching my first fish soon. Cheers, have a great Christmas everyone.
@@TAFishing thats a shame, i hope yr be there again next summer. i have photos of me as a kid walking back from the boats with loads of maccys about 40 years ago, great holidays.
you make nice videos all the time. I always use a collapsible bucket with water in it. I hang it under the tripod to make it heavier. greetings from the Netherlands
Looked like a bloody commune down there at one point, were they foreign 😬😬😬. Once again, thanks for posting these videos, must take a lot of time and effort editing all your footage 🎣🎣🎣👍👍👍
Another entertaining vid. Prepping on the bait board. Ha ha. I thought for a minute you were going to start frying up the chum 😂. With the prawns GP if you do a single cut along the back and you can pull the poo-tube out. Couple of minutes will cook ‘em.
Another good one thanks Graeme! I was wondering how you got on with that single wheel Carp barrow on the shingle, but I think you answered that! Chesil truly will break or make many Anglers! The Mackerel & Prawn fry-up looked delicious!! Stay safe & well. 👍👍
I just wonder Graham because your always up for a challenge but I would dearly love to see how hair rigging certain baits would make any difference to catch rates,I just wonder how this would make an interesting video and what the outcome would be,or am I being stupid? I've never seen it done from the beach!! If it works inland why wouldn't it work in the sea. ? Happy Xmas mate.
Always worth trying something different on other species/waters/oceans/situations...that's how the early fishermen learned....will be tough getting a beach fisherman to put his hook OUTSIDE the bait on a hair rig though..the fish are hard enough to catch as it is...Good comment though, others might expand on it..Have a safe Xmas...
You certainly like it down at Abboutsbury, been alot of nice size whiting in last few weeks. I know a guy that had 14 the other afternoon further West.
When cooking prawns - remove the tail and skin but leave the head on. Run your knife down the back and remove the blue 'vein'. Fry in butter with a little garlic until just pink. Don't forget to suck out the head! Although it sounds awful, trust me, it's the best bit of the prawn!
You mentioned an early Cod Graeme in your video, I live in the Midlands and a group of us shore fished the Mersey estuary couple years ago from the Wiral side of the river fishing about 100 yards offshore and was stunned to catch a fair few Cod/Codling. My question is do you ever venture north as most of your shore videos are from the south coast. Great video keep them coming.
South coast mostly as the cost of fuel is so high plus half the time I can't find anywhere like a B&B that isn't less than £75 a night, which of course I won't be paying !! Not to mention the horrendous traffic. I do run down West a few times though.
Don't suppose you've got any details of the spot? I'm Midlands, been going to Anglesey and had a couple of blanks and the Mersey estuary is a hell of a lot closer! 😁
@@TAFishing West bay is only a few miles up the road great fishing shop, easily accessible with parking, and nice fish and chips from the huts. Stay safe Greame
I can’t get my head around the idea of driving all that way, lugging gear all over that horrendous shingle and just having a manky mackerel and some prawns for bait.
But in the film I say I was hoping to get worms from the tackle shop, but it was closed ?? That prawn and mackerel were all I had,so better to fish than just drive home in a rage.
@@TAFishing yeah you did for sure but you are willing to try anything and no less confidence if you are on a ‘tryer’ bait. Hats off to you ….. great videos btw
Those prawns are not North Atlantic prawns. They were most likely fresh water farmed thai or indonesian prawns. Unfortunately the need for farming these prawns is decimating habitat for natural fish in these countries
Why not eat fish and seafood raw? It's 10x healthier raw than cooked. Cooking, (especially with vegetable oils) is very damaging to health. Humans have always eaten seafood raw.
