Looks like the case discussed in this video was a victim of confusion in the financial statements. Maybe there were some large entries in the bank accounts which created suspicion in the mind of the visa officer rather than imparting strength to the case. In my view and experience, a UK tourist visa is the easiest one to get. You don't have to book flights or hotels. No itinerary required either. Just convince the visa officer that you are a genuine traveller and would not contravene any visa conditions. Write a letter to the visa officer convincing him on mainly on points. That you can fund your travel. That you will not stay in the UK beyond your visa validity. Your letter to the visa officer is the clinching factor. ITR, bank statements, and your regular income proof as required should be submitted. Your ITR and reported income should be in consonance and bank statements should not show any big transactions around the dates you applied for visa. No need to submit property papers, fixed deposit, PPF, and other investment details. They neither need nor ask for these things. Put up a simple and convincing case. Visa will come your way. My experience I am a solo traveller, and have been to the UK twice. I apply for a visa all by myself. My first UK visa came in a fortnight and the second one, in just four days.
