Hi Ashika ! I have applied for UK tourist visa and made the payment. Now, there is a problem with the biometric appointment. On that page, there is no link/ scrolling bar for type of application and time slot (Not working) and i am not able to select the dates for next 3 months.

Hi! Can anyone share their recent unmarried partner/dependent application timeline (dates)? i.e. uk gov application submission:__/__/__, biometric appointment: __/__/__, VFS message saying they sent the application to UKVI: __/__/__, & Approval from UKVI __/__/__? VFS sent passport back: __/__/__? etc. I had my biometrics appointment on the 13th of April and it has been 18 business days with no word from UKVI...I know they are delayed, but I would love to hear someone else's experience so I have a little hope. Also I got an email that VFS sent my application to UKVI but never anything saying UKVI received it...is this normal? I could pay for the email inquiry but from what I have read it is not very helpful...

Does the employer perform any credit/financial background check of the immigrant worker during the immigration process? Is it a pre-requisite for the issuance of CoS and visa approval?

Hi! Can anyone answer this: when you get visa approval did you get a message from UK or from VFS? Also how long does VFS take to mail your passport back to you once the uk has approved your visa? I paid for 1 day shipping so hoping the day I get approval, vfs will ship my passport but I haven’t read anything about the process after approval????

You get a message from vfs that the pricess is complete, but does not tell you if it was successful or not. You can only know after receiving the envelope in hand. There will be a letter in it as well as your passport. Mine said successful and passport had a visa sticker on it..all in 8 days!

Thank you for your video...my wife applied in Switzerland on March 1st and still waiting, 13 weeks later...really frustrating. We both live in Switzerland and just want to attend a family wedding in the UK in July...tried both the paid calling service and the paid Email service, got responses fairly quickly but they were of no use, just saying that the application is being processed but not even really responding to my questions.

Hey Rajal, write to the university. Tell them that you are an international student and the visa processing is taking time. In most cases universities either give an extension or an option to start course online from India and join the university later

In the visa application it is written :"Priority and Super Priority Service are only available in some locations and on some routes. If available, you will be able to purchase these services when booking your appointment@" This service is not available in Qatar unfortunately.

It means he’ll cancel your current application. If you’ve completed your biometric, you’ll lose the money but you can apply again using a fastracked service if available. Should get your visas faster in that case.

Hi , In my case my visa was processed in 20 days but I am yet to receive my passport. Whenever I contact UKVI using paid inquiry, they assure me that the decision was made and they already escalated the case twice. The issue is I need my passport to attend my best friend’s wedding on July 22. Is there any way to get hold of my passport? Please reply. Do you know what can be done in this situation?

Hi Ma’am, my husband and were from the Philippines. He applied for skilled visa last Apr 5. We noticed that everyone applied on the first week of April didn’t get there visa yet. We are legally married and all the documents needed were submitted by both of us in one visit. I am not sure why I didn't get any decision yet. @@parvathymnair9904 Hey Parvathy, you did the right thing by mentioning your rejection. While you file for a visa, any kind of previous rejections, travel abroad needs to be mentioned in the application. Embassies take your passport and biometrics so they would have all these records with them and in case you donot mention it, it may seem like you were dishonest with them. So good that you mentioned it. Also UK as a country accepts previous visa rejections and your prior visa rejections doesn't really affect your current visa status unless the visa has been rejected because of fake or ingenuine documents or funds. Hope this helps.

These are the details required Proof of relationship If you’re applying as a spouse or partner, you’ll be asked about: your relationship with your partner, for example how you met and how often you see each other how long you’ve lived together - you’ll need to provide proof like council tax bills things you pay for together whether you’re your partner’s carer

Hi Peyre, like you’ve seen from the comments, there’s no guarantee. It can be 3 weeks, it can also be 24 weeks. It’s all up in the air now.
