Being British I can assure everone that the figures are so wrong. The total figure quoted includes MOD admin staff. The British Infantry has an estimated 20% on sick leave. Tanks?????? Actually it's been said that only 45 are fully operational and NAVY 😅😅😅😅😅 ships continually breaking down and awairing repair.

What is not taken into account is the types and quality of the hardware that the two countries have and the quality and training of their armed forces. The vast majority of Russian soldiers are conscripts with dubious and limited training and ability compared to the best man for man professional army on the planet. It is not for no reason that the world sends its officers and men to the UK for their training and education. Sandhurst, Cranwell and Dartmouth have large numbers of foreign students from the Middle East, Far East etc. It is very evident that the UK need to spend VAST amounts more on defense and drastically increase the size of its armed forces. As regards the current UK Defense Secretary well yes he should be sacked, the guy is an incompetent fool.

@@SimonTBam Capabilities to build weapons are not shown. Russia builds 3-4 MBTs per day. Duno about other means. Capability to replace the damaged/destroyed equipment IS MORE important than just quantity. But I agree, well trained officers are also very important. And in a similar way, more important than just a number.

@@APOLON-bm7ym In terms of defense equipment the UK is I think pretty well placed with the 6th largest defense company in the world, but it is clear the UK needs to hike military spending. I think the UK has over recent years concentrated on investment in high intensity warfare capabilities which require more tech and fewer actual people, however personally I am of the opinion that even with the best defense tech in the world you still need the personnel to use it, and when it comes to power projection there is no escaping the fact that the ability to put boots on the ground is not going to be replaced merely by the odd drone any time soon.

Well, while that Sarmat is flying from Russia, 100s of Tridents and Minutemen would fly towards Russia, so seeing it, Russia would launch more Sarmats and Yars ICBMs and will issue an order to their subs to launch Poseidons, Zyrkons and all they have on US, UK and European soil. Seeing that, US orders launch to their subs and launches 1000s of their ICBMs = Earth no longer sustain life and we are all basicaly dead. Lucky ones would die from the blast. Others would experience awfull torture while trying to survive in a radioactive wasteland. Those few with shelters, will became rodents as they will be forced to live underground, and even if they have enough clean food and water, nobody knows if humans can actually survive without Sun (Vitamin D can not be absorbed without Sunlight, and many scientists strongly believe life is NOT possible without our lifegiving Star).

What i find absolutely amazing is that UK defence expenditure is roughly 60 to 70% of Russia's. That's not a massive difference. You might think that the UK would have half the tanks, guns and aircraft that Russia has. But no the disparity is far greater than that in Russia's favour. This leads to me to believe that the UK's military industrial complex is shot through with incompetence, inefficiency, corruption and nepotism. Yet you have politicians eager to pour more money into this bottomless pit. Before you even think sbout increased defence expenditure the reasons why UK taxpayers get such poor value for money need to be addressed and solved.

No, this shows your level of knowledge around militaries and wars, i am by no means and expert, but let's start with basics, better technology costs more money, Compare both navy's for starters, the UK's is way more advanced. What does the UK need loads of tanks for? tanks aren't effective vs the UK in a war, not on UK soil anyway. The UK focuses on the navy, air force and technology. The fact you think the UK is anymore corrupt than Russia shows the level of knowledge you have.

@@seaNYo123 At least I know the plural of 'Navy' is 'Navies' not 'Navy's'. There is no apostrophe 's' in plurals in English. This is basic English not rocket science. Yes of course the equipment of the UK's armed forces is superior to Russia's but considering the massive disparity in numbers it still shows that the taxpayers in the UK get very poor value for money. Throwing money into defence spending will result in big dividends for the shareholders of BAe Systems etc and corrupt civil servants, politicians and ex military personnel. Before any money is committed to the UK's military industrial complex there needs to be a massive overhaul of how this money is spent rooting out inefficiency, incompetence and corruption.

Russia should increase it's Aircraft Carriers to atleast 50 than 1 and helicopter carriers too, because i don't think you can have that many attack helicopters without 1 or atleast 10. In doing so they wouldn't bring much needed heat to their distant enemies apart from using only nukes.

It's funny that everyone forgets that Ukraine has been massively rearmed since 2018 and has been actively supported by almost 50 countries with weapons, vehicles, money, etc. since the conflict. Over 10 thousand mercenaries from all Western countries are fighting for Ukraine!! All of this...against...a single country...that gets no help and fights alone...
