A UKPSA safety course is the gateway to Level 2 and above matches held in England, Scotland and Wales by obtaining a competition license, it also allows you to shoot in international IPSC matches.

I had such good fun on one of these safety courses last summer. I wasnt all that sure how interested I was in practical shooting sports but my club was encouraging it and I had such a blast! About 12 of us mostly shooting 2+1 shotguns over 2 days. I would say it's important not to feel that you need to have all the gear to go. It helped me decide what to invest in also.

hi how long does the license last for...an wots the cost of the safety course...please...

I believe the license only expires if you don't compete for a certain length of time. The maximum a safety course can be is £160 as this is the cap the UKPSA puts on it.
