@arturrehi, you can criticize Trump all you want, and you can even passively hope that Harris will win the election. However, I want to point you to three significant, historical facts: 1) The Russians first launched their war against Ukraine back in February 2014 when Obama was President and Biden was his Vice President. 2) Russia expanded their war against Ukraine in February 2022 when Biden was/is President and Harris was/is Vice President. 3) When Trump was President from January 2017 through January 2021, there were no new wars; there was relative peace in the Middle East, the Abrahamic Peace Accords (that Trump originated) resulted in at least three Peace Treaties being signed between Israel and her Islamic neighbors; the terrorist government of Iran was on the verge of financial collapse because of the sanctions that Trump imposed on them, our enemies feared us the our allies respected us. Just look at the escalation in global conflict and chaos that has occurred throughout the last several years when the democrats (Obama, Biden and Harris) have been in control of the U.S. government. The aggressors saw the weakness demonstrated by the democrats, and they took advantage of the weak U.S. leadership at the time. Hamas would never have attacked Israel last October, had Trump still been in office. The Houthis would never have been attacking international shipping in the Red Sea area. And 13 U.S. servicemen would never have been killed in Afghanistan when Biden pulled out the way he did, leaving billions of dollars worth of military equipment in the hands of Islamic terrorists. As a veteran of the U.S. military who proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Navy defending the U.S. Constitution and the American way of life, I am voting for Donald Trump. I am more concerned about the economic health of the U.S., the integrity of our border security, and the strength of our military, than I am other, lesser issues.
Hungary has a tilted election system. Lots of foreigners are allowed to vote. And other rules favoring Orban's party. But this latest statement is pretty weird, because Fidesz basically annexed the heroes of '56. If this guy said this 10-15 years ago, Orban would have choked him by his own hands.
If Trump wins the American election, then by a year from now, Putin could have all of Ukraine, with pockets of resistance. Apparently, Orban just wrote that, if invaded, he'd give Hungary to Putin, rather than fight for independence. So, within the next year or 2, there's a clear path for Putin to have veto power in NATO. It seems preposterous but it's not impossible.

I’m no expert, but Zelensky has been a vocal and visible leader of a nation under constant Russian attack for almost three years now. His actions, international transparency and impassioned engagement in the UN have kept Putin in check. His visits showing appreciation and support to Ukrainian troops throughout conflict zones clearly demonstrate his leadership.

@@Peace-Love-And-Freedom-For-Alltrue but it seems china is taking over russia bit by bit. It's chinese cars and stuff that is now being sold in russia. I don't think they are totally in it for economic reasons either. I mean this war has shown just how weak russia really is. Also china has been making a lot of in roads in Africa as well, but by lending money and even helping with things like infrastructure. But when the country can't keep up on the repayment of the loans then china basically takes them over. I think china is playing the long game with russia and I think they are winning. They are just using the old adage slow and study wins the race. With chinas economy collapsing and less people doing business with them. With manufacturing and unions coming back to America and people while it's hard doing their best to find things not made in china, or things with parts made in china to then be used in things made here. I know countries well the leaders of countries have said it's not their goal to crush chinas economy, they didn't take into consideration what the people wanted. Right now we are very much loving having manufacturing coming back and getting stronger, we are loving the unions coming back and getting stronger, it's why so many are doing all they can to get Harris and Walz into the white house and get every Democrat running from the top all the way down to city dog catcher elected. Unfortunately for some stupid reason it still seems like it will be close, I know others in other countries worry because they say how America goes so goes the world, I don't know if I totally believe that. Because a country is as strong and as free as the people want. In places like russia, china, north korea they have a different mind set but the worst seems to be in russia. As a kid I paid attention to the elders in my neighborhood. We had a large population of people that came from Eastern Europe and a portion had been in the camps, they were put there because they still did what was the right thing to do, even knowing the consequences if caught. It was another time in history where things were upside down in so many places. Where doing the right thing was wrong, and doing the wrong thing was right. I listened I learned and they also warned those of us kids that would listen that the darkness of that time came from the hearts of people and nothing else, but the lights that shown also came from the hearts of people. A good example for me of one of those lights was the women I grew closet to. She was from Poland and her and her family became guest at the camps for doing what was right, she was the only one that left the camps yet even knowing the outcome she said she would do the same thing all over again, because it's better to do the right thing no matter what, then join in the wrong thing and let the darkness eat your heart. Another example for me are the code talkers. After everything done to them since those from other countries started coming here and treating them like dodo when asked because their language linguistically was so different from anything else it couldn't be figured out, a language mind you that people had tried to take away from them. In my eyes they did a lot to save and help the good guys win. For whatever reason people have let the darkness fill their hearts again and I believe trump didn't just give premission here to unleashe people's hatred but that started spreading, but places like in Hungry that started before trump. I honestly believe we as a species not just as a country or countries are at a cross roads and it's up to all of us do we all fall into darkness or do we find the light in our hearts. I'm not talking about any kind of religion, I believe in a thing called coexisting until others try to force their ways and beliefs down my throat. Until others start taking away my rights and freedoms. This isn't going to end with this one election, but getting sane and caring people in all levels of office, getting rid of trump by beating him in the voting booth is a big start. Unfortunately there are to many people around the world that just want to be told what to do to just be a lump on the couch channel surfing the TV. Not realizing what they want to happen to others will happen to them as well. So it's up to each person which path do we take and here trump and his people are already trying to set up the whole pack of lies again just like last time saying it's fake, it's stolen bla bla bla. So many are worried about what his cult is already doing and will do when he loses, but they haven't stopped to think how many are fed up are just done with it all, and it won't be like what happened with the protest in DC when trump got sworn in. It won't be like the protest when another black man was unalived, it will be all the pent up rage, fear, pain, and all the other emotions coming out. All people have a breaking point but people have not stopped to think about that. The countries like russia interfering in our elections because they want a weak person they can play like a fiddle, have forgotten what happens when you wake a sleeping giant. I am curious to see if those in other countries will wake up as well. Now let's see if this is allowed to post.

The discussion of Hungary’s government and its stance towards Russia implies Hungary is lost to pro-Russian influence. However, the statement lacks thorough insight into Hungarian domestic politics, relying more on a personal viewpoint than a balanced analysis. Opposition leaders’ call for Orban’s resignation is mentioned, but the broad generalization that “Hungary is lost” oversimplifies internal dissent within the country.

Not true. If you watch the video of the protests against Maya Sandu in Chisinau, you will see that a pro-Western candidate can win only if there are violations in the elections. My wonderful Hungarian father-in-law escaped during the 1956 uprising, and made his way to America. He was an architect but worked as a janitor when he arrived in the US until he learned the language and could pass the requirements for becoming an architect here. He risked his life during the uprising and knew the Soviets would be coming for him. He risked his life again to escape. He died in 2022, but if he was alive to know that Hungary would accept a re-occupation by Russia, I truly believe he would cry. The tears would be white hot with anger. He and his fellow Hungarian rebels worked so hard and lost so much trying to get out from under the thumb of Russia. I can't imagine any European country that would look to Russia and think "Yeah, living like that looks better than engaging with Europe." It has to be crime-related. EU roots out crime and corruption. Russia operates on crime and corruption. Hungary must've decided that they want to participate in the oligarchs' criminal destruction of their own countries.

I think you fail to understand Orban’s reasoning and the fine print of Hungary’s situation. Orban, like every Hungarian ever, knows perfectly that Russia is the worst thing ever, and probably loathes them beyond belief, yet he plays Russia’s buddy constantly. Why do you think he does it? He does it because his relationship with Russia is literally the only leverage he has against the big EU players (especially Germany and France), which have been at Hungary’s throat since when Merkel took the suicidal decision to kickstart the “refugee” crisis in the 2010s by inviting everybody to come to Europe. Every year, the EU tries to force Hungary to relent the laws that the Hungarian people demand, which include not taking in any illegal from the third world, not allowing Islam to spread in Hungary, not allowing for any gender-charged rhetoric in the education system, not following suicidal CO2 emission legislation that kills the economy without achieving anything for global warming etc. For the governments of Germany, France and Luxembourg, these are the worst actions any Western nation could do, and they leverage every tool they have to try to bend Hungary to do what they want rather than what Hungarian voters want. In the same way, Orban has started to use Hungary’s relationship with Russia more and more in order to push against this, because it’s literally the best card in his deck. This still makes him a POS, don’t get me wrong, but to ignore how his approach has been drifting in this direction the more that the main EU powers started to apply their political will on the other member states, simply doesn’t recognize the underlying issue that drives all of this. This constant imposition of will from the big EU players is the single reason why populist right wing parties even exist, and why “pro-Russia” is even on the charts! If EU nations were not forced to take in the avalanche of illegals who come there, to adopt useless “green policies” that still cannot make a dent on global emissions and so on, 70% of Europe’s political issues would disappear overnight. Orban would be as staunch of a Ukraine supporter as Poland is, Austria would have a different government, Germany would not have an exasperated population that votes AfD, etc. but sadly everybody will throw every excuse in the book to not look at the actual reason why all of this is taking place.

It's always been funny to me how Putin thinks that US political division is our weakness. From the perspective of Putin and Xi, a one party system must obviously be stronger, and two sides voting against each other must weaken the country. Instead, it (hopefully) means that the side with the better ideas wins, gets to try their ideas, and if it doesn't work out, the other side gets a turn. In a one party system, under a dictator, there is no other side to take control if things aren't going well. The dictator makes a decision, and the whole country is forced to keep applying that idea, even if following that bad idea is destroying their country. It's good to have an alternative, and consequences for the outcomes of bad decisions.
It is also a matter of "what kind of division" we are talking about. - If US share the same goals, same values, same concepts, same ideas but they are divided about means and strategies to achieve them, that is strength. - if US is divided about goals, values, concept and ideas, then remember "The House Divided" speech of Abraham Lincoln.
It is a weakness. it makes it very difficult to take timely and effective action in an existential crisis because you first have to convince people that there is an existential crisis, and that can be difficult with a malign outside actor stirring up dissent. I'm sure there are many people in authority in Europe who are very aware of the threat posed by Putin but can't re-arm to the degree required for fear of losing popularity.
@@CipiRipi-in7df By “a house divided,” Lincoln was clearly talking about the Civil War. That issue that was pretty specific to his presidency. He didn’t just mean having different political parties, since he had just become the leader of the very new (liberal) Republican Party, after the Whigs lost power. He just meant a country’s disagreements shouldn’t be settled through violence.
@@Ollies2CentsWardill Again, discussing different solutions before taking action is a strength, not a weakness. Look at China’s high speed rail system, losing billions of dollars every year because they built tracks to small towns that barely anyone uses. If discussion were allowed, and another party was able to point out the problems with that project, it never would have become such an expensive disaster. Even war shouldn’t be rushed into, like Putin found out. Unfortunately, Congress doesn’t need to declare war anymore, but they should, or Iraq and Afghanistan probably never would have happened.

What Russia ignores is that changes in government officials is normal in a democratic system that doesnt involved falling out of a high window, Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
Trump said he will not defend Ukraine, and that Taiwan, a tiny island, should, "Pay for their own defense." That's like saying the Isle of Man should be able to defeat the rest of the UK by itself...
Thank you for serving our Community brother!!! ;-) Love the enthusiasm!!! Mike Turner R Ohio our Intelligence Committee Chair has spoken about the several Russian Talking Points being repeated by his fellow Republican Members on Capitol Hill... Sad News about the impact of Russian Counterintelligence on Trumps Party...Yeah, he even repeated a few in his saying Ukraine needs to surrender... KEEP THE FAITH - Yes we can!!!
20:28. Haha! All these ‘strongmen’ dictator types are all the same. They’re all so very weak and fragile inside. Lukashenko reminds me of Trump “I know more about (pick any subject) than anybody in history ever”. 😂
I feel like a country could be fed up with forced immigration when violence and crime are the result. I further feel that a country can feel that way without supporting an evil empire-building dictator. So Austria can be done with bad immigration and still oppose Putler
The Harris meeting with Zelenskyy was more significant than the one with Trump. Harris made it clear that giving up Ukraine sovereign territory is not a peace plan it is surrender, "which is unacceptable".
Yes, except that Harris is going to lose. Trump is ahead in four of the seven swing-state poll averages, per RCP, if you throw out the worthless Bloomberg/Morning Consult polls. And Harris's leads in the other three are well within the margin of error. Given that Trump, in 2016 and 2020, has consistently out-performed on election day the predictions of the pollsters by several points, the reality is that he probably leads in every one of those states. But just giving him the four states where he now leads, he will end up with 287 electoral college votes, enough to deny Kamala the Presidency.
Why would you call the idea of Trump ending the war "a lie"? That's just ignorant. He is saying what he thinks he can do. That's not a lie, that's an aspiration. Whether he can realistically do it is up for debate, but to dismiss it as a lie is harmful to your own interests.
I'm an ethic Hungarian born in Canada, I'm not an expert on Hungarian politics, but I know a few reasons why Orban is able to stay in power: -There is a lingering revanchism in many Hungarians, wishing to take back territory lost from the first world war -Orban's government implemented a policy that allows Hungarians living outside the country to obtain citizenship, and many of those people would vote for him -Hungary's party system is broken or partly broken (not 100% sure, again I'm not an expert) Not really here to debate, just wanted to give my 2 cents.
Austrian here: pro-russian party in Austria got 29% of the votes, but it's highly unlikely that they will rule government or appoint the chancelor since they need at least a second party to reach 50% and no one wants to form coalation with them ;) So its very likely that parties representing the middle will stay in power and FPÖ with their 29% stay in parlament as opposition.
Glad to hear this. My Stepmom was Austrian and died in May having lived almost 70 years in Germany. She was kindhearted with a terribly racist streak, increasingly giving out about the foreigners as she got older, conveniently forgetting that she kept holding on to her Austrian passport and therefore was a foreigner, too.
Putin and Trump both need to be on vacation in Venezuela forever. What does Putin have on Trump? Maybe some video while Trump was there on "business ".
Austria has always had issues when it comes to center line democarcy. They did give us the worlds most terrible tyrant in the past 100 years. I am not surprised at all.
When a guy has so many jobs on his resume, it means that he was no good at any of them and couldn't keep a job for more than a couple months at a time.
