Nikolai is 33 years old, but seems to function more like a reckless 13 year old. Not much for Volodymyr to work with here, but he gave it a good try.

First guy: 5 years in captivity won’t be long enough to help this young man sort out the scrambled eggs in his head. He should be exiled to his beloved Russia after his sentence is completed. Second guy: Openly admits he acted as a spy for Russia. Now complains that he wasn’t confined with his buddies… fellow traitors. Again, 5 years won’t be long enough to repair whatever brain damage he’s sustained. 😵‍💫

Its amazing to me how people can be puppets, solely because of propoganda. Its here too. The truth is so easy too see and process. Its so frustrating but I believe and have hope that the majority of us see and defend the truth.

This guy seems amazingly stupid because he doesn’t realize he will be put into a meatpacker unit. Sadly, I believe everyone evaluates the world according to what they are told then act according to their personalities. I believe the Ukrainians were wrongly invaded by Putin’s forces but can I be certain? Is hard to know because I too can only evaluate the situation according to what I’m being told.

I really wish they had not started these voice overs. I want to support the channel but it's hard to get through the whole interview when the dynamic of the interaction has been basically erased. I would rather watch the actual interview in real time and read the translation. It humanizes everyone involved and is more dynamic and educational. A better insight to the truth of the matter. If you go to their russian language channel a lot of videos have subs now (not crappy autogenerated ones) :) not all of their videos have it but many get subs added, you just have to turn on CC. I agree though, subs are a lot better. The voice-over vids are also trimmed down, the full conversations are much better.

The prisoner obviously hasn't clearly thought through things. There are holes in his logic at every bend. Maybe he should get himself a proper education during his imprisonment and read a few books.
