To be fair, a number of early fighters on Ukrainian side at the start of the war in 2014 pulled off some vile and despicable shit, including extortion, rape, and torture. Not a surprising fact that early pro-Ukrainian militias formed to a part from criminal, hooligan and political extremist backgrounds. Many got convicted for that by Ukrainian courts other than the guys on LPR and DPR side who did the same and worse for years killing/dissapearing hundreds of dissidents and journalists with no fear of judical persecution to this day.

I´ve had an russian girlfriend for a year. I´ve travelled in most european countries. I have many friends from ex-sovjet countries like Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova and poland. Even one from Kazakstan. And now you get offended from what i know from my life?? So it´s actually your own comment who should be classified as "rediculous" my dear. I've been watching these and I don't understand how the lengths of sentences are arrived at. For example, here someone who seems totally clueless gets a much heavier sentence than someone who knew exactly what she was doing.

For the prisoner exchange. However, also, everyone treats their friends well. By treating their enemies far better than they deserve, Zolkin & co show that they're excellent people. It's just who they are. It helps Ukraine in two major ways: it shows that they can be trusted with our support, and it undermines all of Russia's propaganda.

There are always common phrases or sayings in other languages that might translate as a bit old fashioned, or in a way that makes sense but wouldn't really be commonly used in English, or would be used but in a slightly different way.... It's just how it is. Some of it is quirks in auto-translate software too. For example I often see the word 'stupidly' when reading auto-translated text yet I've never heard a Ukrainian speak that verbally in English.

The reason why they want people to take pictures is to make sure they're current. The tanks, planes, helos, etc that have been found all have had verrrrrrrrrrrry outdated navigation equipment and even the maps they have found on soldiers and in equipment, have been over 40 years old! If they have a current picture, they know that it can be trusted, whereas their own images can't. Hope that helps from a military standpoint. (Husband is in the military.)

I’m just genuinely curious. We accused innocent Afghanistan civilians we find out years later so I know it’s possible for innocent to get caught up unfortunately.

Guys, others appreciate the English audio but I do not like it. I prefer to read English subtitles while hearing the original russian/Ukrainian audio. Please leave the original audio as an option - all I have in this video are Polish/German/English. Please leave the original audio as one of the options as well. I can't stand these robotic or dubbed voice videos. Thanks.
