Putin has stolen more than billions, he's stolen the lives of his own people and then told them if they rebuke him for it he will have them jailed or killed. He's a madman, and I feel for the mislead Russian people almost as much for those in Ukraine.

The amount of tax breaks the top percenters got under the Trump administration; was around 7.8 trillion. That is 7800 billion mind you. Meanwhile under Biden, 45 billion so far to protect the way of life for not only another suffering country in need, but to send a message and prevent more territorial aggression towards western nations will not be accepted-- is hardly a waste. It's probably one of the smartest investments I've seen the US make in some time.

The French, Poles, Dutch still had resistance operations until they were liberated. The Vietnamese resisted for decades against the French and US. The Taliban resisted for a decade against the US and NATO too. The Palestinians have resisted Israel for decades as well. Ukraine can lose the war, but the people won't lose their identity. They will fight with sticks and stones if they have to in order to be free. It won't be the first or last time a military underestimates people's ability to resist. It wouldn't even be the first time for Russia.
