While talking exclusively to NDTV, Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba invoked Mahatma Gandhi's legacy and said that the truth is on their side and hopes that India is on truth's side. When asked about his previous remarks where he hit out at India for purchasing Russian oil, he said, "We realised that Indian money wasn't entering Russian economy and wasn't financing the Russian war machine." He also spoke about India-Russia ties, the upcoming Switzerland Peace Summit and role of United Nations during wars.

Mr. Kuleba needs to be reminded that relationships are strengthened by their historical context. Suggesting that India should abandon Russia and align with the West because the foundation of its Soviet relationship is outdated demonstrates a misunderstanding of the basis of this relationship which is butressed on some of these values, mutual respect, open communication, common interests and goals, humanitarian cooperation, economic interdependence etc

Destroyed industry, corruption at all levels, the president is a drug addict. During World War 2, how many Ukrainians helped the Nazis! Russia was waiting for the Minsk agreements to begin to be implemented, but no one was going to implement them; Merkel openly stated that the agreements were invented to delay time and arm Ukraine. Putin simply got there first, otherwise Ukraine would have attacked Russia. Russia intervened because Ukraine began bombing Donbass more intensively in February 2022!

@@greatgalaxy2118 i know but i don't think India going to like Russia that is so much depend on china and I'm not sure but there is report that China and Russia share intelligence and maybe I can't confirm but maybe Russian secretly share intelligence with China during Indo China war and natural resources in more capacity. Russia is more dependent on China, and it's good for China because Chinese companies can capture the Russian market and buy natural resources from Russia, plus have two veto powers and help in defense technology and intelligence sharing. However, this is not good for Russia. Moreover, I'm not sure, but it's true that both Chinese people and the Chinese government claim Vladivostok? India and China's relation was good before 1962 even China Tibet and illegally occupied destroy Buddhist temple, brainwashed the people, doing propaganda and recently changed name of Tibet but still India accept Tibet as a part of China and the time people chant Hindi chini bhai bhai means that Indian and Chinese is brothers and sisters but what China did? Attack on India and illegally occupied Ladakh (aksai chin) India don't did anything but Chinese soldier try to enter in Indian territory and India's 20 Soldier attained martyrdom and recently change name of Indian state Arunachal Pradesh but we did nothing and is hard to trust China now.
